Most Helpful Positive Review Give it a chance!
When I first used this, I wasn't impressed at all, to be honest. It dried down to a matte/semi-matte finish and it left my combination skin feeling dry & tight; it didn't feel lightweight at all. Despite this, I pushed forward & kept using it.
Come to find out, my skin was getting better with extended use! The problems I was having with it had NOTHING to do with the product, but with my actual skin. My skin was dehydrated (not unmoisturized) & overproduced oil in my tzone. Extended use of this product helped regulate that (along with a proper skincare routine). I looked deeper and found the ingredient list rich with hydrating ingredients like snail mucin & a blend of wonderful oils with brightening and soothing properties, compounds that help retain moisture & keep my skin hydrated like niacinamide, and even things to help with my hyperpigmentation issues like hyaluronic acid! I was shocked at how beautiful the formulation of this product is.
We're supposed to be using sunscreen EVERYDAY, no matter how short you're exposed to the sun - even if it's just going to the grocery store! We're also supposed to reapply sunscreen every two hours (depending on our sun exposure), but doing so over makeup can be challenging. This product is perfect for just that! It uses the beautiful ingredients Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide to be a great no-white-cast physical sunscreen!
The product advertises itself as a "full coverage cream" which I found is slightly misleading. If you think you'll get full coverage with, say, just one or two pumps, you're in for a surprise. That being said, this product layers beautifully! You can definitely build up to that full coverage you might be looking for, but will still look very natural.
TLDR: Give this product a chance - not just for a couple applications, but use it regularly so you can really see the wonderful affect it can have on your skin. Definitely buildable coverage, layers beautifully, and is a wonderful sunscreen! Two thumbs up!
Most Helpful Critical Review I really wanted to like this...
After watching rave reviews of this CC cream from some of my favorite YouTubers, I had some extremely high expectations for this product that were sadly not met. I have 40 year old, normal/slight combination skin with occasional dry patches. This cream would cling to my dry patches, oxidize leaving me with an orange hue after a few hours, and separate on top of my slightly oily T-zone. I tried applying this product with and without primer, with a foundation brush, with a beauty blender, with just with my fingers and then I gave up. I passed it on to my 65 year old mother who turned right around and gave it back to me saying that it overly emphasized her wrinkles by settling in them over time, and that it made the rest of her face look like an oil slick. -- My biggest regret is that I used up so much of this cream trying to make it work that I cannot in good conscience return it for a refund.

I don't wear foundation ever, but when I do I hate the feeling of it on my skin, I get itchy and super oily no matter how much powered I use etc. This CC cream is great! It's pretty full coverage for my dark spots but super lightweight, it feels like there is nothing on my face! I wore it for about 6 hours the other night with a little loose powder to set it and I didn't get super oily which is a plus for me. I wish it wasn't as pricey for the bottle size but I'll purchase again :)
More orange than advertised

Purchased the shade Fair Light that is described as 'fair with cool pink undertones.' Yeah, so that was a lie. The best way to describe this is to liken it to a dollop of Jergen's self tanning lotion that has been left exposed on the counter for about a week.
2 stars because the color was off, the coverage was erratic, and it made every dry patch extra obvious, BUT, in the places where it wasn't splotchy, the formula looked AMAZING on my acne scars. Going to keep it in my purse to use as a lightweight spot concealer while outdoors.
Did not love it

Because of COVID I couldn't test color out in the store so I had to take a leap of faith. The color was totally unnatural and odd. The cream rubbed off inside my mask even with setting spray and looked terrible, my regular makeup doesn't do that, but the store closest to me doesn't carry MAC.
Be careful of your shade selection!
Pearl from IA
From the few tests I did with this, this seems like it would be a nice product - it blended pretty well for me and dried to an interesting matte but not super dry texture. But I ordered the second lightest shade (Fair Light) and it's way too dark for me, it seems more like a mid-range shade. There's no way going to Fair would be light enough for my skin (let alone the fact the undertone isn't right), so be careful of your shade selection and/or try it on in person when it's safe to do so if you want to give it a try.
Bad for texture correction
Heather from VA
I got samples of light and medium through Ipsy and both were too dark for my tan beige skin (Ipsy recommended medium and I paid extra for an add-on for light, intending to mix them). This product is good if you have uneven skin tone and perfect texture but I have the opposite problem: I have mostly really even skin tone (maybe some minor redness near my nose or the occasional dark mark from recovering acne) but my texture is bad - large pores and some minor scarring. This product exaggerates all of those features and adds more. The area between my brows looked more wrinkly, along with eye area, mouth area, etc. Maybe possibly I used too much? Certainly good for providing one uniform color (which is a tad too orange for my taste) but bad at providing a smooth flawless finish. I'll be sticking with Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer.

I was very hesitant because of all the mix reviews but now I am in love. My only advice is a little goes a long way! I love that it has spf and color correcting. It's meant for lazy girls like me that wants to do minimal work to looking naturally beautiful and also protect my skin all without putting on 3-5 different products after moisturizer. I also have sensitive skin, blemishes, and breakout easily. This have not made it worst, in fact I see improvements in my skin. On my third tube.

Goes on so well, great coverage! I have very sensitive skin and after wearing for a week no issues at all!

I ordered the lightest shade and this stuff is dark orange. I took the quiz and did the try-on virtual option, it is nowhere close to what was advertised. Don't trust whatever shade they recommend.
I will purchase again

I like how it last all day

I have used a brush, a sponge and my fingers. No matter how much blending I do over moisturizer, changing moisturizer, just using a serum. the color is pasty, after a few minutes, the product settles in my pores, making me look like I have measles. Definitely not a product I will use again.
Wonderful. Best I've discovered

I have a patch of very dark discolored skin that this hides with the smallest amount.
A must for everyday looks
Busy mom from Orlando FL
This foundation is beautiful. It has sunscreen, and anti aging ingredients, plus it has several shades to choose from, it does not oxidize on your skin. It can be natural to medium coverage depending on how you work it. You still have to prep your skin prior to apply it, especially if you have large pores and a few fine lines. In my case I liked it better than the CC cream.

This has way more coverage than any full coverage foundation I've tried. I usually use the tarte Amazonian clay but this cc cream has it beat! It feels so light and hydrating and really smoothed out my complexion. While it seemed kind of dark when I applied it, (I got the 2nd lightest one and I'm very pale) it actually ended up smoothing out and sinking into my skin so it blends in perfectly! So far no creasing anywhere either, which was a major issue I had with my other foundation.
Pibette from Tampa, FL
This cream is wonderful! It has serum right in it and the full coverage hides imperfections (ie. tiny veins, birthmarks, etc.). All IT products are reasonably priced with excellent results! It's like a second skin!
Love this product!
MeshellyMac from NY
I went into to Ulta when they had the IT makeup artists doing demos. The artist picked my color and applied it. The first thing I noticed was how it had a very nice light scent. When she gave me the mirror, I was so happy with the coverage. She picked my color perfectly! I usually wear tinted moisturizer with SPF. I like to wear this when I am going out or I will use a little bit as a concealer. Very happy with this product.
Only thing I use.

Perfect! It was hard to find a good foundation that I liked. This is all I use now.
Ok yes to this for online classes
Makeup Mary from Florida
I got this to switch out with my urban decay all nighter foundation. Since classes are online I thought something lighter would be nice for the days I do feel like putting on makeup.
Sits a little uncomfortably on the skin, but overall great
Kat from Los Angeles, CA
With all the rave reviews, I had to try it out! It's a great CC cream but maybe not worth all the hype. It's a little thick and I'm always aware of it on my skin, and at times it can slide around a bit with my oily skin. However, it makes my skin look great, doesn't break me out, gives surprisingly good coverage, and has sunscreen in it! Would recommend trying it out, especially if it's on sale.

I wish I discovered this sooner. I had been using a previous IT foundation and it was ok....this is perfection. A little goes a LONG way. The application is easy and hides my rosacea. SPF 50 too? Um I want to buy the case load now!
Bella La Ghostly from Seattle, WA
I wanted to love this, but honestly, it's just OK. I bought the lightest shade available, but it's still too dark. I really needed a good sunblock, so I've decided to keep it. To make it work, I've been mixing it with Skin79 BB cream for a more usable shade. In the future, I probably wouldn't buy this again unless it was $20 or less.
Coverage is awesome
Lisaaa from PA
I have had my eye on this product for some time and finally decided to give it a try. I really am happy I did! I like the coverage it gives without the feel of it being heavy. Very lightweight feel which is just what I want. I have sensitive skin and already had some breakouts prior to using this product so it's too early to tell of this has added to the problem or not. Either way, I will continue to use this as my go to for days I'm in a hurry!
Faith from Texas
I will not use another foundation. I've been using another It product that I was pleased with but still not completely satisfied with the coverage. This solved that and more. This covers beautifully! I use less of this than I even had to use of the previous foundation and I get every result I've been looking for.
