Finally the perfect blush brush!

By Aly

from KS

Comments about Real Techniques Blush Brush:

I've had my eye on this blush brush for quite some time but have so many brushes, I'd been using multi use brushes to put on my blush. I still just felt like my blush wouldnt blend correctly. I finally purchased this one and it's the absolute perfect size and taper and the bristles are packed but not too dense. It's extremely soft and blends/picks up pigment very well. Will be the only brush I will buy for blush from now on! Also going to pick up another one because it's great for bronzer as well!

I use this brush for blush. The bristles are soft and they don't fall out. The last blush brush I had....although I liked it, shed and I would have a black bristle on my face at work every once in a while. Not cool. So far so good with this brush!

I use this for blush. I expected this to maybe apply the blush harsh, but it comes out light and then you build it up. You can also use this for contour and bronzer.

Comments about Real Techniques Blush Brush:

This is my ideal blush brush. I prefer a very sheer, diffuse application that's very blended out along the edges. I don't like thick, dense blush brushes that concentrate blush in one spot, because that looks very clownish on me. This brush fits my purposes perfectly. I can apply blush in a sheer layer and build it up easily for more pigmentation, and then blend it out along the edges. My application is never patchy, streaky, or uneven with this brush, and I'm usually terrible at applying blush!

What's more, this brush feels very fluffy and high quality for such a low price! I think you could also easily use this to powder your face or apply bronzer. It's a very versatile brush!

Comments about Real Techniques Blush Brush:

I bought this because I asked the sales lady at Ulta to help me find something small and inexpensive that wouldn't apply too much product as my travel case blush brush. She showed me this... was just over $8 and that was a good price considering it's competition. Got it home and works great and is so very soft as a blush brush I am now going to use it as my primary blush brush and change my usual one to my travel one! The only problem I see with it is you need to really not swipe or dab the brush much at all because pigment attaches to it very well and holds very well. You just use a very little blush when you use this brush and you don't have to waste any by tapping it off on your wrist either. An excellent brush and price was well worth the quality. I like the curvy handle as well and the multi-color bristles.

                        Hi Beauty Buzz,

Fortunately, both of these brushes are made from synthetic, hypo-allergenic fibers and are some of our softest bristles, so I don't think you should have any issues like you might with bristles made from animal/natural fibers.

The powder brush has slightly more bristles and a wider head & dispersment (since it doesn't have to be as focused of an application as blush), so you may find that one works best.

                        Hope that helps.
                        Thanks.

                        Hi Neesha,

Great question! One of the things people love most about our brushes is that they have multiple uses, and using the Blush Brush for a bronzer is one of them, so yes, you can definitely do that! :)

Personally, for applying bronzer, I like a brush that has a bit of a broader head to it, and so my favorite brush for that is our Bold Metals Arched Powder Brush (found here: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod11831007)

The bristles on this brush are our softest yet! And, because they are not as dense or compact, you're able to gently sweep bronzer across your face to really get that sun-kissed look.

                        Hope that helps!

It is compatible with both cream/liquid and powder products. The Blush Brush is designed for use with powder formulas and can be used for both blush and contouring.
