Comments about Clinique Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser:

I introduced this product into my Clinique routine to remove make-up. I have a lot of difficulty with skin irritations from a lot of make-up removing products, especially eye makeup removers (even oil based). Using this cleanser before the 3-step routine allows me to successfully remove make-up (including mascara and gel eyeliner).

Comments about Clinique Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser:

This is so great, it leaves my skin feeling literally SQUEAKY clean! I use it when I can feel a breakout coming on, or when I really need to wash off all the makeup from the day and a normal gel cleanser is not enough. It is almost a little drying but use a good moisturizer after and you're fine. I love this so much.

Comments about Clinique Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser:

I talked to a clinique specialist about this since my friend said she used the pink bpttle instead of the step 1 and wanted her opinion. No matter what, your daily face routine if you use clinique should be the 3 step cleanser, toner, moisturer or cream at night. This product is used as a second tool to get make up off completely. Soo, I use my miscellar water to remove as much as I can then I use the 7 day exfoliate then this and THEN my 3 step. Hope this helps.. but basically its a face wash that helps get make up off completely before step 1.

You only need to use a small amount of this product to clean your face. It doesn't completely remove make up, so you need to use a toner along with it.

Hi! This is a very gentle, yet effective cleanser. You can use this product each day that you need to remove your makeup. It is not harsh at all, and I hope you enjoy it! Thank you for your question and your interest in Clinique!

I notice in the directions it says to avoid eye area but claims to remove makeup. Can I use this cleanser to remove mascara and eye makeup?

                      A:

Hi! It was designed to be used on the face area and not the direct eye area. It will nicely remove primers, foundation, sunscreen, powder and blush from the skin. If you are looking for an eye make up remover, you may want to try Clinique's Take the Day Off for Lids, Lashes and Lips. It is an amazing partner! The pigments in eye makeup tend to be a bit different, and we guarantee gentle, yet effective removal with each Clinique makeup remover. Thank you for your question!

I am currently using the acne solutions cleanser from Clinique, but now with winter coming I feel it's drying my skin. Should I switch cleansers to something more gentle like this cleanser?

Hi! If your breakout has cleared, you can absolutely adjust your cleanser. If it has not, I would add an oil free moisturizer instead to boost hydration. You may want to try Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel or Clinique's Moisture Surge Extra Thirsty Relief for skin. Thank you for using Clinique!

Is it necessary to use this and the liquid soap in the 3-step skin care system to clean skin, as the back of the product states? Can't one or the other be used to clean skin?

Hi! If you wear make up, you will benefit from using both. If not, it would not be necessary. CLINIQUE'S Rinse Off Foaming Cleanser is designed to break through the pigments in your makeup. The CLINIQUE facial soap is designed to cleanse the skin, balancing the oil necessary.
