Lime Crime's Venus III Pressed Powder Palette, the heavenly sister of the grunge palette, has descended from above. Happy pops of purple and pink put the crowning touch on the perfect light-to-mid tone range to flatter all skins. Rapturous lilac, rose gold and mauve shades mix with earthly browns. Ultra-buttery formula sweeps on richly pigmented color that doesn't fade or fall out. The dreamy lavender and rose gold box is graced with Venus herself.

Shades:
  • Beam (lit lilac w/ pink shift - iridescent shimmer)
  • Beloved (minky lavender brown - metallic)
  • Bliss (rosewood - matte)
  • Dreamy (mauve - matte)
  • Ecstasy (dried fig - matte)
  • Heavenly (rich rose gold - iridescent shimmer)
  • Paradise (bright fuchsia w/ blue glow - glow)
  • Rapture (soft blush w/ blue flash - shimmer matte)
Create the dreamiest new eye looks from a soft blush of color to a fierce grunge eye. Sweep on brownish neutrals for a natural look. Mix iridescent Heavenly or Beam with any shade to totally transform the color result. Use lighter shades to highlight brow bones and the corner of eyes and darker shades to sculpt and line.

Love it

By Lipstick junkie

Comments about Lime Crime Online Only Venus III Pressed Powder Palette:

This palette is a lot more neutral in person. With that said it is really pretty and it blends beautifully! I really enjoy the formula and will definitely be buying more from lime crime.

Comments about Lime Crime Online Only Venus III Pressed Powder Palette:

Okay so this is my first purchase from lime crime..i seen the tones and really wanted to give it a try.. i dont think the pallet is terrible but i also dont think its worth the price i was charged..for $38 i got four shadows out of the eight that are decent and the two stand out shades that sold me on the pallet are the two sparkly shades on the top row in the center —they have absolutley no color pay off -/ the mattes blend beautifully but the shimmers dont even show up and im extremely fair .. overall i am disappointed and out $38 ..i was choosing between this and the abh soft glam —i went with thisb because there were pinks and purples but they dont even show up— i wish i would have spent a few extra dollars and got the abh which already had so many positive reviews — instead i took a chance on a brand ive never tried and i regret it— wish i had gone with the soft glam — this was a complete let down

Green eyed girls bff

By Banana

Comments about Lime Crime Online Only Venus III Pressed Powder Palette:

This is definitely a staple now in my collection. I have Venus one and two, and now three. And she does not play. With buildable coverage and a gorgeous color scheme how can you not love it. As someone with green eyes purples and pinks are what i mostly search for with not much luck. But limecrime must have my silent internal crying and said lemme hit you with a pastel grunge pink and purple pallet for the summer. Now my eyes are always poppin. Also this pallet works so seamlessly with the ABH soft glam pallet. Ughhh i love it so muuuuuch

I love all of the Venus palettes, but this one is probably my favorite. The colors are gorgeous, very pigmented, and blend beautifully. The purple shade is to die for!

Best 8-colour brights palette!

By PixieStyx

from Miami, FL

Comments about Lime Crime Online Only Venus III Pressed Powder Palette:

This is my favourite smaller palette yet - the colours are vibrant, very pigmented, blendable, and the variety of finishes makes it very usable. I was able to create a dimensional pink/violet smokey eye look with this palette alone (and a black pencil) in under 15 minutes that got tons of compliments using 6 of the 8 colours. The payoff is really amazing, fallout was minimal (I never dig into the pans unless I HAVE to in order to get pigment on my brush) and I barely had to touch my brushes to them to pick up enough pigment to lay down the colours. Venus III is probably going to be my new every day/travel palette. I LOVE the Violet Voss palette of rainbow brights, but it doesn't have any neutral, matte, or transition shades, so I can't use it alone. Venus III doesn't have any blues or greens, but I can either supplement from other palettes at home or do without if I'm travelling. Venus III is pretty much perfect if you love pinks and violets, and it's surprisingly versatile.

Comments about Lime Crime Online Only Venus III Pressed Powder Palette:

I love these shadows. I know that it's sort of similar to the Venus XL but these shadows lean more purple. I think it's just the right amount of pigment, really easy to blend, very little fallout; I think that's because I was being a little careless with the application. It's definitely worth the price. I love all of Limecrimes shadow palettes though.

Comments about Lime Crime Online Only Venus III Pressed Powder Palette:

I accidently added the first review without adding the pictures*

Firstly, the formula is largely similar to venus xl, the only other LC shadows I own. The overall palette is more neutral toned leaning cool. Beam and heavenly are the only shades that can't be build up really well. They seem to be a topper sort of formula made to add dimension and sparkle to other shades. Unfortunately, they both are already developing a sort of thickness to the surface like these sorts of formulas often do, but I can still get some product it just doesn't look good and it is a little more frustrating to work with.

As in the venus xl, the shades tend to appear darker when swatched, especially over a more wet base. Also, the lightest shade applies darker than it seems like it will. Strangely, paradise seems to be turning pink on me. It started out purple and as time is going you can kind of see where it is looking more pink?

Overall, I really like this palette. The color scheme is cooler than most of the palettes I own and I can think of a lot of ways I can use it. But it does have its pitfalls, as mentioned above. For whatever it is worth, I will be keeping it.

I forgot to mention, the only dupe I saw in venus xl was goddess and bliss. The colors are similar but bliss is matte and goddess is satin. I swatched them for comparison.

Jazmin has a good point and I would love to buy this palette but not without knowing the intended use for all of the colors. The ingredients above list "FACE" beside two of the colors as if they are being sold in the eyeshadow palette with the intent that those two colors are used on the face because the other colors say "EYE"? Valid concern. Safe to use but what is safe and where and if it is a true eyeshadow palette, why are two colors showing "Face".

              A:

Thanks for reaching out! The shades listed as (Face) contain a colorant that is not FDA-approved for the use around the immediate eye area; however, it is FDA-approved for external use on the lips, face and body. It’s important to note that this restriction only applies in the U.S.; in every other market where Lime Crime is sold, this colorant is approved for use around the immediate eye area.
              Hope this helps! XO
