Preparing the puff is key: press the Velour Puff into the loose powder. Work the powder into the puff by folding and rubbing the halves together, then tap off any excess on back of hand. Gently press puff onto skin, using a rolling motion to "work" the powder in. Focus on the areas where makeup breaks down the most.

It's not the best for dark spots
I have very dark discoloration on my face from years of tanning. Wear Sunscreen! I have a hard time finding makeup that will cover or blur my dark spots. This powder was sent to me in return for my honest review. HOWEVER, this is a product I have purchased again and again with my own money. It is so blurring, long wear and great coverage. I have purchased different shades in this product as well including the pink tone, and celestial powders. I have loved them all. They last long not needing to do more than 1 touch up over the span of one evening. I wore this powder for many events and it always stays in place in my under eye creasing happening after a long time wearing. I highly recommend this product as your go to- if you're in the market for a new powder that's a good quality for the pricepoint.

I had to give myself time to work with this powder and compare to others, this definitely provides me with a blurred, soft, perfected look. Im not one to buy high end powders but I get why this has hype. My base is locked in and looks flawless all day, even after naps.

Thanks Laura Mercier for the free ultra blur translucent loose setting powder and puff duo. This is my first time using this powder and I can see why it's so loved. It melts into your skin and leaves such a beautiful finish that last all day! It doesn't settle into my fine lines like other similar products.

This is a nice set, it give me the matte affect for my oily areas but still makes me look luminous and glowy without being greasy. I love the puff but sometimes I also use a brush. I wasn't big on setting powder but now I'm sold! I would recommend!
