Most Helpful Positive Review Mattifyes and stops creasing but watch out!
I bought this a couple days ago and I love it! I use it right after I blend my concealer to stop creasing and all over my face at the very end. It stops my concealer from creasing by instantly setting it and gets rid of all the shine (except my highlighter of course) But you need to watch out! I was taking pictures after I finished my makeup because I was feeling accomplished and I noticed something crazy. With the flash, I looked like a ghost. I instantly grabbed a brush and buffed it into my skin more. Use less product then you think you need and buff more to avoid this I learned. I included before I buffed extra and after I buffed.
Most Helpful Critical Review Not for me
This product is not for me.. It gave me a white chalky finish when it was suppose to appear neutral on all skin types but on mines ( woman of color ) it does not. In my photo you can see that I didn't apply much and some areas I left blank so you can see the difference. This product is best for someone who is not of color. Also on whether it last long and shields the shine I do not know because I have not worn it a full day.

Would not recommend this powder if you plan to take pictures at night. I was at a friend's birthday party & we took pictures that would've been really cute IF I didnt look like James Charles reincarnated. Was really frustrated and disappointed.

It's gave me really bad flashback and was hard to apply and does NOT blend well
I've bought this 3x
Murci from Tennessee (TN)
As I said in the title, I've bought this three times. It's a staple for me. It's a *finishing* powder, not a setting powder. You cannot set your foundation with this, *do not try.* This is the final step after all of your makeup is finished, and is used in place of (or right before) setting spray. This product will keep your makeup on all day and stop most facial sweating. I used it every day when I worked as a hostess and rolled silverware in a hot kitchen - my eyeliner never moved. It also hides fine lines and pores, so much so that I gave up my primer. It will leave a slight white cast, especially if you use too much. It may not work for darker skin tones because of that. For me, this is a product I cannot be without. I hope this review was helpful to someone. :)
Only powder I'll use
Johanna from New Orleans, LA
I learned very early that talc is horrible for my skin. This powder does not contain talc and is does not cause any breakouts. I've used it for years! Great for mattifying my oily skin.
Kaity from LeMars
I haven't used this product very much, I've only used it maybe twice, but both times it smelled like heavy chemicals and the powder got everywhere but on my brush and went into my nose. I wouldn't recommend this product.
Best for mattifying oily skin
Diana NY from NY
Do not use this powder for baking! I use this powder to set my oily skin for the day/mattify my sunscreen (which has a dewy finish). All you need is a bit of powder dusted on with a large fluffy brush in your t-zone, and even on oily eyelids, but don't overdo it under the eyes. I also use it as a buffer between my skin and powder foundation. Never apply this with a damp beauty blender lol most of these bad ratings are pure user error.

I am really impressed with this. I've been using Airspun for years but I love the way this feels it's so much more lightweight. However, it's nooottt good to use to bake with. It's so fine that I can barely pick the product up on my brush or beauty blender. It also doesn't blend easily so if you manage to get it to stick to any brush/blender it has crazy flashback in photos. However it's a perfect product for removing shine and keeping make up still
Worst finishing powder !!
Kiki from Puente Hills
This finishing is easily my worst purchase from NYX. It doesn't blend in, and even after trying to, if you take your finger and run it along your skin you will get a lot of white powder on your finger! You can see the whiteness on your skin as well. Also, this powder is extremely thin; and even if you barely put any on your makeup tool, there is too much! It looks like a big flour mess.... stick with your regular finishing powder. AVOID this one.
Not worth the buy

This powder once applied is very noticeable and is not worth the money spent.
Use it with a Kabuki Brush (Dry Skin)
mr jeans from Central Texas
I have dry-normal skin, but when I still want to set my entire face of makeup (I live in Texas) I use the "elf kabuki face brush" (the one without a big handle and just a flat plastic end) and this powder. I use a smaller fluffy brush to set my under eye VERY lightly. I don't use a lot of this powder in any area that I set, and I definitely don't use it to bake (since my skin is dry-normal). This powder has flashback in flash photos, so I just use it for daytime events and it's great. I've even accidentally napped and sweated in my full face while wearing this, and my makeup didn't look gross or wear off. Still looked nice (I didn't even use a setting spray that day). Maybe the other reviewers tried baking w this or used too much—I really recommend using a big fluffy brush and minimal product with this for best setting results.
Good for short wear
oykatet from Illinois
It will perfectly cover my pores and make my skin look air brushed, but about an hour later I'm super oily. I love it just to wear out to dinner or for a shot while though.
I love this powder
Leeka from Denver, CO
I have tried several powders from drug store brands. This is my favorite. Only need a little bit to get that satin touch. My face feels so good after I use this powder. Only a little bit needed
Can't function w/o this powder

I use it after blending my makeup and concealer for a smooth and matte finish.

Wanted to try this product and couldn't have been more disappointed. It doesn't blend out and looks white in pictures. You can see it on the skin. On top of that, it made my foundation turn orange. Don't buy this!
Shows on skin
Suz from Iowa
Looks blended in door lighting, when in natural lighting shows white and unblended
don't recommend at all.

i wanted to try a new powder because the air spun powder was also terrible with flashback but this one is AWFUL. i took a picture and it does not even look blended in. just terrible.

my make up sets with this powder but cakes and creases! used a blender and a brush and it pulls up your foundation and creases your concealer.
Worst setting powder ever
E from KS
PSA DO NOT EVER BUY THIS POWDER. the other day my husband told me I looked like a clown and I literally got so mad and looked in the mirror cause there was nothing wrong with my face. Well today he told me not to move and took a picture and THIS IS WHAT THE SETTING POWDER IS DOING UNDER MY EYES in certain lighting. Like if there's a shadow that's what it looks like. This photo was taken with no flash and was what my face looked like to the naked eye. Literally horrific.
Finishing Powder magic
NJ2U from California
I use this powder to set and finish my make-up. I have mature skin, this does not settle or creates creases. It gives me a poreless finished look. I love it. My make-up makes though the whole day!
ORANGE OR WHITE
maiaboo from Lebanon
picked this up in store in a rush. i loved it at first. it is horribly difficult to apply, literally floats around in the air when you open it and apply it, getting EVERYWHERE. then after a week or so it started turning my foundation orange when applied! then just last night my hubs said i looked like i had ghost eyes under certain lighting. told him to take a flash photo and Im literally not exaggerating when I say it looked like someone took white paint and flour and smeared it all over my face. PURE WHITE. I attempted to blend it out with. brush which helped but instead of patchy white i looked like i had a milky color film on my face instead. THIS POWDER WILL DO YOU DIRTY IF YOURE TAKING FLASH PHOTOS. will not be buying again
Don't buy it

The worst setting powder I've ever tried
Bree from Queen Creek, AZ
This is the worst setting powder I've ever tried. It's white but the second it hits makeup it turns the makeup orange! It was the weirdest thing! It looked awful!
Bridget from Illinois
Smells like straight chemicals, feels like you're putting baking soda on your face. Virtually impossible to pick up with a beauty blender/brush/fingers. Easily inhaled. Not to mention, your under eyes will be seen from outerspace. Dries out your skin immediately- started breaking out horribly and my skin was flaking it became so dry. Went to a dermatologist and this product gave me a perioral dermatitis flare (which I've never had before). please PLEASE steer as far away from this product as possible unless you want an uncontrollable rash around your mouth and/or you feel like eating half product as you apply it :-)
Nikki from Ohio
Tried to apply with a beauty blender and brush. Very cakey no matter how you apply. I returned it.
