Expensive Milk 🥛
I finally understand why Sauvage Parfum is so popular. The opening is fresh and clean with a pleasant citrus character, but what really sold me is the drydown. After an hour or two it becomes smooth, creamy, and incredibly enjoyable. I kept catching little whiffs throughout the day without going nose-blind, which made me enjoy wearing it just as much as the people around me. Projection is exactly where I want it. Some people may consider it weaker than the other Sauvage fragrances, but I actually think that's its biggest strength. Two sprays (one chest and one neck) gave me a noticeable scent trail without overwhelming the people around me. It gets attention without demanding attention. Longevity has been excellent. It lasted through a full workday, and I could still smell it on my shirt afterward. If you're looking for the loudest Sauvage, buy Elixir. If you're looking for the most balanced, approachable, and versatile one, I highly recommend Parfum. Pros: * Fresh, clean opening * Amazing creamy drydown * Excellent longevity * Professional projection * Easy to wear year-round Cons: * May be too subtle if you're looking for "beast mode" projection. Why the title? Because after a few hours the creamy drydown reminded me of "expensive milk." 🥛

This was a blind buy for my husband. I thought it would be a long lasting scent but its not. Would not recommend.

Sauvage: Put a penny and some peppercorn in your mouth while sitting on a leather couch. Yeah. Just like that. Sauvage Elixir: They took the penny out and added a forest.
Great purchase!
I bought this for my dad, and it's amazing. This scent is so clean and uplifting. It's reminds me of Zest soap but more sophisticated. My dad says he now prefers this one over Myself, his previous favorite cologne.
