I needed to replace a very old brush and do not regret this purchase. There are times when it wastes a little bit of powder, but that has to do with the powder container more than the brush.

I hoard brushes:).. I have super expensive brushes. and I ALWAYS come back to this one.. NOTHING compares to this brush for setting my foundation. it's the best powder brush, have had it for years, never sheds... I had to buy a back up just in case they discontinue it.. you know how companies do that for no reason.. you definitely have to try this brush you won't be disappointed plus it's on sale!!

This is the softest brush I've ever tried. Love it. Applied my makeup very well. First time trying this brand and love it. Will be buying other brushes from them. Only con is that this brush doesn't fit in an average makeup bag. Need to use one of my bigger ones. Other than that its great.

Hi there - great question! I would definitely recommend the Setting Brush for this because it has a smaller head, which is better for the delicate and small surface area you're working with around your eyes.

                          Thanks!

                          A:

                          Hi Joelle,

This is a really good brush for bronzer. I think brushes that have larger, fluffier heads are best for bronzer because you want a lighter application (not targeted where people can definitely see lines, etc).

There is one other brush I would recommend for bronzer. This one is a new one from our new Brush Crush line. It's a Kabuki brush, which has a huge head and really fluffy bristles and is meant for bronzers and highlighters. Hi Sammy,

This brush is *perfect* for finishing powder - I think you would be really happy with it. Because of the "fluffiness" of the bristle head, this works really well with loose and pressed powders, and actually isn't the best kind of brush for Foundation. For foundation, I would definitely recommend our Expert Face Brush (it's amazing): http://www.ulta.com/expert-face-brush?productId=xlsImpprod4260015

                          Hope that helps!

                          Hi Em,

Thanks for your question. I actually wouldn't recommend this brush for a face mask. I think the bristles are too soft and not densely packed enough for that kind of application.

There is a brush that I would recommend from our sister brand, EcoTools. It's our Flat Foundation brush: http://www.ulta.com/bamboo-foundation-brush?productId=xlsImpprod481496. I *love* this brush. I use it every day to apply my foundation, but as soon as you mentioned face mask, I thought this one would be perfect.

It's flat, it's bristles are densely packed and they are very smooth which would make applying a face mask much easier.

                          Hope that helps!

                          Hi Helenita05,

This brush is great for pressed powder, if you want light, even coverage. If you're looking for a bit more coverage with your powder, I would recommend our Retractable Kabuki brush (http://www.ulta.com/retractable-kabuki-brush?productId=xlsImpprod6330143). The bristles on this brush are a bit more dense and angled, which gives you more coverage overall.

                          Hope that helps!
