Get voluminous curls with Conair's Xtreme Big Curls Hairsetter, which include 12 hot rollers. Rollers are 1 1/2 inches. Includes 12 super clips - both metal & plastic clips.
I think this is one of the best Conair hot roller sets on the market. If, like me, you prefer larger rollers and often don't use the medium and small rollers included in other sets, then this is the hairsetter for you! All the rollers are 1 1/2 inches in diameter so the result is lots of volume and smooth, loose curls. The rollers heat up fast and are gentle enough on my hair to use every day (something I avoid doing with my high-heat curling iron). The set also contains 12 plastic and 12 metal clips which is a huge plus--I use both types depending on where I place the rollers in my hair.
I think that many of the negative reviews here are because people don't understand that this set is not for creating tight curls. In fact, if your hair is shoulder length or shorter, you probably will not get any curls at all; rather, you'll get a large C or S shaped wave (like you would with a blowdryer and a round brush). You also have to let the rollers cool completely and use product in your hair (frizz control serum, gel/mousse, and hairspray) if you want the curls to hold.
My hair is about two inches below my shoulders, very wavy, layered, and tends to curl easily. This set smoothes out my waves and give my hair body and shape. Love it and highly recommend!
I let this warm for 5 minutes. The rollers were pretty hot. Sprayed dry shampoo on roots. Then hair spray the rest. Then started rolling my hair and left the warmer on the whole time. I let them sit in my hair for 40 minutes. Hairspray each curl as I took out the rollers. Finger combed my hair with maybe 5 strokes at best. Ands this is all the curl these gave. Hairspray again. I'm hoping it stays at least like this. Tho I wanted way more curl than I got from these. I got much more from the remington curling wand I just bought.
Maybe my hair is too long. I don't know.
Great rollers and love the box with my niece's pictures on it
They cool down way to quick and the clips don't hold well at all.
This was my first time using rollers, I didn't expect how fancy and cute this was going to be! It heats up pretty quickly, there's 2 options (clips or pins) to hold them, I preferred the clips. I did still have some trouble getting them all to hold in place but I'm also just not good at this kind of stuff lol I managed though, and the result was soft bouncy waves! So pretty, especially since my hair is decently long. So excited to have gotten this!
Dyson airwrap who ? All jokes asides, these are amazing. I have long hair and they work great for me. Not only are they affordable, but the curls come out so nice and bouncy. Keep in mind that these are intended for loose curls. The rollers get to a warm comfortable temperature. So it's easy to put them on without the fear of getting burnt.
I have noticed that these don't damage my hair as a traditional curler would. My hair has not been feeling as dry as it was before.
10/10 I would recommend
