Q
Because this is labeled as a 'serum', are we supposed to follow with an eye cream?
Asked by Nicole
Official Answer By Murad
You can follow with an eye cream that is hydrating if you feel your eye area is dry after applying the Vita C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Is this safe to use with eyelash extensions? None if the ingredients appear to be oils but i hust want to be sure.
Asked by Jenni
Official Answer By Murad
There are natural extracts but no mineral oil. We would advise reviewing the ingredients with whoever is applying the extensions for you.Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Had anyone noticed it being very drying? I think it did lighten my eyes but now where I put it looks very dry.
Asked by Chris
Official Answer By Murad
If you still have dehydration of your eye area after apply the eye serum you may want to consider using the Renewing Eye Cream to help increase hydration. You can apply it after the Vita C Dark Circle Correcting Eye Serum or alternate which eye product you use.Was this answer helpful to you
Q
What is the vitamin c % of the product?
Asked by Dany
Official Answer By Murad
First let me start by stating that we disclose the percentage of an ingredient only when it is an “active ingredient” in other words, an OTC (over-the-counter), FDA (Food & Drug Administration) approved ingredient. Here at Murad, as part of our Corporate policy, we do not disclose percentages in our high performance formulations as this information is considered proprietary. What I can share with you is that Dr. Murad creates formulas based on a result not a percentage. Our products are designed to treat a specific concern within the skin, keeping in mind our Whole-Person Health approach. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Can this serum be applied directly to the eye lids? I am beginning to show signs of tea stained lids.
Asked by Kim
Official Answer By Murad
You can apply to the orbital bone which is just below the eye brow. Your body heat will spread it down the lid.Was this answer helpful to you

Seem to be allergic to this eye cream

I received this dark circle corrector as a gift (as part of a Bzzkit, also received the Murad rapid dark spot correcting serum). I was really excited to try it out, and I put on the eye cream overnight the day it arrived. I used one pump for both eyes, as it spreads easily and a little bit goes a lo...

Works amazingly but flakes

This stuff is amazing. I gave horrid dark circles and bags. I do get under eye fillers but that does nothing for the darkness. This stuff is a god send. However, it does get white and flakey so i just dont use it in the morning. I wear it over night and wash and tone my face in the morning. Its worth every penny

Does not work with my emu oil, smells like bacon

Submitted 3 years ago

By KSG

From New England

Works well, I have noticed a difference in the shade of purple under my eyes- they have lightened even within the first week of me using it. However, mine smells like bacon which is really odd to me. I also notice if I apply emu oil specifically (have not tried other oils so far), the serum lifts and rolls into little pills and I have to brush them off my face. It does not do this under my eye cream/moisturizer, just the days I layer with emu oil. I think in the future I would use this maybe during the more humid months, and find something that doesn't come off with the oil for dryer seasons where I need the extra moisture.

Only docking one star because of price

I ran out of this product about a month ago. I think it actually did help with my darker under eye circles a bit (mine aren't related to hyperpigmentation, rather, just being fair complected). I also have eczema and thought this product was moisturizing around the eyes. I recently purchased The Ordinary caffeine serum for my eyes, but that product does nothing for me unlike what the Murad serum has done for me. If anything, it dries my eyes out. The only problem with this product is the price. However, it lasted me about 6 months when I used it every day. Not bad
