I received a free sample of the Kiehl's high potency hyaluronic acid in exchange for my honest review. I am attaching photos below of my skin before use, after first use, and a week after regular use. I used this product day and night for 10 days before writing this review. I had no sensitivity ...to this product. I replaced a competitor's hyaluronic acid serum with this one in my skin routine and followed with my regular snail mucin essence and moisturizer. The Kiehl's hyaluronic acid did a much better job of maintaining a moisturized look than the product I was using before. I believe that after just 10 days of use, my skin looks brighter, livelier, and younger. My skin was quick to soak in moisturizer and sun screen after applying the Kiehl's hyaluronic acid. My main complaint with this product is that I believe the directions will not lead to the best results. The directions on the bottle read "Apply 2-3 drops to clean and dry skin in the morning and evening". I have always read that hyaluronic acid is a humectant and will pull moisture from the skin if not applied to already damp skin. This could lead to drier skin. For the same reasons, hyaluronic acid should be followed by a moisturizer, to allow the products to moisturize the skin. Further, I found that 2-3 drops was not enough for me, personally. My recommendation would be to change the direction so that customers looking to increase hydration do not follow these directions and wind up with drier skin. I would rewrite the instructions to read "Apply a small amount to clean, damp skin in the morning and evening, following with moisturizer". Overall, I was impressed with this product. I though the performance was amazing when following a routine that strayed from the directions. After 10 days of use, I would estimate I have used about 6ml (or 20%) of the product. So I think with daily use, this product would last me just shy of three months.
