Good mineral sunscreen
I received this product for free by BzzzAgent (thank you!) and tested it for about 10 days, both on its own and together with BB cream on my face and neck. This was my first time trying a mineral sunscreen as an adult. I usually use chemical ones daily. This sunscreen has an oily texture—not watery ...

Great Step Forward for Mineral Sunscreen
I'm honestly so conflicted about this sunscreen. This is undeniably an incredible step forward for mineral sunscreen. I had to double check that it wasn't chemical because of the consistency. It's liquid, not cream (yay!) and is super easy to apply. With that being said, it did feel like there is so...

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. This sunscreen does sink in right away which is nice. It also left no white cast on my skin or in pictures but my only drawback was the smell. My face smelled almost like sulfur the entire day which another person noticed unfortunately. I understand most mineral sunscreens are like this but the scent it left behind would have me pass on purchasing in the future.

I've tried many sunscreens, but this one is my favorite so far. It feels light on my skin and doesn't leave any white marks. I like that it's mineral and has high SPF, so I feel protected even on sunny days. It blends well and doesn't feel sticky.

I'm always a little cautious with mineral formulas because of the white cast. This one does have a bit at first, but it blends in surprisingly well after rubbing it in and letting it sit. It's not perfect though and I notice a bit of a tint on my skin. It's also really gentle on my skin and it layers nicely under makeup. Another plus: the bottle is super portable. It's the perfect size to toss in a bag or carry-on, so I've been bringing it everywhere.

I'm honestly so conflicted about this sunscreen. This is undeniably an incredible step forward for mineral sunscreen. I had to double check that it wasn't chemical because of the consistency. It's liquid, not cream (yay!) and is super easy to apply. With that being said, it did feel like there is something gritty about it while swiping it across my face. I generally hate it when products are gritty but at least with this it's on the very mild side. I also noticed that it doesn't do well with texture. My textured flaky areas looked a bit more noticeable during use. The white cast is expected (this is mineral after all) but wow! It was actually not that bad! I mean yes, it's still there, but for someone with olive skin it was *almost* close to being unnoticeable. I did end up feeling it on my skin, but it's not heavy or annoying. It's just that if I think about it I can tell that yes, there's something on my skin. It's a bit oily to the touch so I don't recommend using it with makeup. Especially with the wild 2 hour reapplication window. The thing is... reapplication could get real thick. The product doesn't just disappear off the skin. At the end of the day I had a seriously aggravating time trying to get it off. I tried an oil cleanser, water cleanser, and even a light physical exfoliant. I still felt remnants. At least that means the waterproof claim is solid! I don't think the negatives outweigh the positives entirely, and I'm actually still excited to use this product. I just think I'll stick to it as a body sunscreen and stay chemical with my face.
