Rinse face and hands with warm water. Pump gel into damp hands and work into a lather. Gently massage lather onto face using a circular motion and avoiding the eye area. Rinse with lukewarm water, pat dry and follow with Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner.

Love for sensitive/acne prone skin
Love the cleanser for my sensitive/acne prone skin. Its simple, lathers nicely, has a naturally pleasant smell (from the calendula flower and essential oils) and lasts a long time. Love that the pump locks for travel as well. The essential oils in this product might be irritating if you are going through intense treatments or exfoliation so watchnout for that but as a daily cleanser this is a wonderful option.

I generally love most of Kiehl's products - however, unfortunately this face wash was a disappointment. I had wanted a gentle cleansing wash (I normally use the Kiehl's Facial Fuel face wash as my daily cleanser during the day) for late evenings before bed - the Calendula Deep Cleansing wash caused redness directly after use that lasted for a short time, appearing to irritate my skin. This occurred after each and every use of the face wash I tried. My partner also tried it and had the same reaction, so we've discontinued use. Given the size of the bottle and price paid, it's unfortunate to have it go to waste.
