Lightweight moisture & glow!

I've tried a slew of milk toners and the Ilia Base Face Milk is really natural, feels super lightweight and sinks/absorbs well into the skin. The opening is a little small, takes a little effort to distribute but great for not wasting product. I use a few shakes into palm and then press into my skin.... The base face milk is lovely. It's a milk, toner-like texture, slightly thicker than toner but not too much so. There's a slight cooling sensation when applied and feels refreshing and hydrating. It's not overly glowy but leaves your skin dewy and the face milk soaks right in. You can leave your face as is or it even makes a great base for makeup products. It smells very mild, almost like a faint plant based milk. I enjoy the smell and it dissipates rather quickly. It feels really nice on the skin, doesn't sit on top at all or feel greasy in any way. Like most milk toners a little goes a long way. It feels great when you press it into the skin. I like to add a moisturizer on top to lock it all in. I love extra hydration especially in the winter months. You can use as it as a light moisturizer on its own if you're oily or in the summer. I do notice that over time my skin is more hydrated, it reduces redness, smooths texture and my skin feels less irritated than normal. I have rosacea and sensitive skin and I haven't had any negative reactions to it, it's only aided and healed my skin. Along with all Ilia products, I love that it is dermatologist tested, safe for sensitive skin, Vegan/ cruelty free and doesn't contain any fragrance, silicone or gluten. I loved the addition of Hyaluronic acid for ultimate hydration as well as microalgae extract which is a superfood antioxidant. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a hydrating 2-in-1 toner or moisturizer that is lightweight, moisturizes and smooths out skin texture. It's safe for sensitive skin and has really taken my skincare to a new level. Even if you haven't tried milk toners before, this is a great one to start with especially with it having natural ingredients that will not irritate. I really enjoy the Ilia base face milk and along with their other products I can always trust that my sensitive skin will be safe in their hands. I will definitely repurchase once I run out!
