Hey! What is the difference between this & hypochlorous acid?
- Asked by K
- Official Answer By La Roche-Posay - BEHello there! Our Thermal Spring Water is naturally rich in minerals and antioxidants, sourced from our thermal spring in France. It’s known for its soothing and anti-irritant properties. Hypochlorous acid, on the other hand, is a lab-created antiseptic with antimicrobial properties. While both can be used on the skin, they have different purposes. Our Thermal Spring Water is primarily for soothing and hydrating sensitive skin, while hypochlorous acid is more focused on cleansing and managing bacterial concerns. For further information on the specific benefits and usage of hypochlorous acid, we recommend consulting with a dermatologist or other healthcare professional. They can best advise you on which product is most suitable for your specific skin needs. Was this answer helpful to you

Best Facial Spray
I have tested a variety of facial mists/sprays and this is definitely the best one. Especially for my super sensitive skin. It doesn't sting my face! It's a great way to refresh throughout the day when you notice your skin needs a bit of boost of hydration. I use it all the time. My morning routine,...

This item feels nice...
This item feels nice and does not leave a sticky residue behind. It dries down and leaves well...nothing. It feels like water in a can. I am in my late 30's and do not have any significant wrinkles and little sun damage. I do however have skin that tends to be sensitive and on the dryer side at time...

Is a great product
Love their products but…..
I was recommended this by an influencer and I don't know why. It does and feels like nothing. I actually like the Thayers spray better
The Best
I have been using this instead of my Tower 28 spray and its been amazing. Plus this La Roche Posay mist doesnt render my vitamin c useless unlike Hypochlorous Acid in Tower 28. If anything it actually boosts its efficacy because LRP Face Mist is rich in Antioxidant. Hypochlorous Acid is an Oxidant. Hope this helped :))
Can't be without
One time I was driving a long way from Seattle to San Francisco. It was hot and it was in the summer. I had forgotten to bring this. I had to stop midway and find an Ulta to buy this. My skin always has a very light irritation to it.the only thing that makes it go away is to spray this on my face. It relieves the irritation like nothing else.
Helped with my Breakouts
I have been struggling with acne for as long as I can remember, and I never thought something as simple as fancy water would help but it does!!
