I am a black woman with thick wavy very short hair. This gel enhances my waves with great shine and does not get crinkly hard. I love that it absolutely does not flake! I use PM sculpting foam first and then go over certain areas with the gel. I need to buy this by the gallon! Note: it didn't make my hair blue and purple. That's just me being eccentric!
