I'm disappointed. It's so gritty, and it's hard to buff out the granules. One of the granules was so large that it got stuck in the opening and I wasn't able to squeeze any product out. Probably the best lip balm ever
I know it says mask, but i put a small dot of it on for daily use and it works amazing. My lips always get pretty chapped after using other balms, but this one keeps it consistently soft and hydrated. There's only a little bit of texture with my tube like how it is with the other reviews but I don't mind! If anything it's an added exfoliant, not too abrasive at all.
Baby Soft Lips
When they say mask, they mean it. Love that this can be applied like a lip balm, which is what I honestly bought it for. I really didn't think much of any benefits, other than keeping my lips moisturized in the moment. Hours after the balm wore off, I noticed my lips were baby soft and hydrated! Plus, there were some gentle exfoliating effects that I didn't know my lips even needed. Use this throughout the day or as a true lip mask at night to wake up with hydrated lips!
Not the best, not the worst
It is very thick and sometimes difficult to squeeze out of the tube. And the grit is initially off-putting because it made me think I didn't remove my lip scrub thoroughly enough. But with body heat and time everything melts together well enough. However, I'll say that the flavoring is like a weirdly sweet lipstick type of taste that I dislike. So, if you dislike grit or a strong flavor in a balm, definitely pass this one by.

Yes, it's "grainy", as others have mentioned. Sometimes these little chunks get stuck in the little opening and block the balm from coming out, and that is annoying (tip: You just gotta not squeeze so hard when it gets jammed). But this stuff is so amazing, and so moisturizing and healing for dry lips, I don't even care. I LOVE this product, even with those issues. By the way, the little grainy things are like a wax, and they dissolve with heat from your lips if you just press your lips together and smash them in. They don't stay grainy. They melt. If the consistency issue is a deal breaker for you, keep on looking, but I'm telling you, you are missing out on a really great product. It doesn't only moisturize, but soothes and heals like nothing else I've tried. I, myself, will continue to purchase this lip balm indefinitely.
