Is the cherry brightening okay for rosacea? And do I need additional moisturizer with this product?

- Official Answer By StriVectin - SamplingThe Acerola Cherry within the Super-C Retinol Brighten & Correct Vitamin C Serum shouldn't impact your rosacea. It's a highly concentrated source of pure Vitamin C that visibly brightens, firms and restores radiance to the skin. To prevent any rosacea irritation, we recommend not rubbing the serum into the skin during application but instead warming the product in your palms first and then gently pressing it into the skin. If you feel like your skin is lacking in hydration once the formula has absorbed, I would recommend adding a moisturizer. We normally recommend a moisturizer no matter what, but I know some customer's have preferences with use of serums only instead of moisturizers. However, adding a moisturizer just helps with hydration and added skincare benefit, which can help boost the performance of every product you're using within your regimen. Can I start using it everyday if ive never used any retinol products before? Ive heard that you should start using retinol two days a week, then up to every other day, and finally everyday.

- Official Answer By StriVectin - SamplingGreat question! You can definitely do a gradual build-up to AM & PM use daily. You can determine the pattern you want to start with, there's really no right or wrong. Otherwise, we recommend just patch testing the skin either on the forearm or behind your ear, just to make sure you won't have a reaction. If you don't, you can safely begin using AM & PM daily. Feel free though to do whatever you're most comfortable with but we do test our Retinol on those with sensitive skin so we are mindful. Although, all skin does respond differently. I liked this. It has a nice scent, goes on the skin well. I didnt care for how sticky it made my skin feel but I do think it helped a little bit. My skin looked smoother and more clear after a couple weeks.

Absorbs nicely into the skin and doesn't leave a greasy feeling and no weird smell like some other vitamin c serums. Easy to layer with other products and makeup making it a nice base. Didn't notice to much of a difference with my skin but I probably need to use it longer than a couple weeks.

This is such a good brightening retinol, and it smells AMAZING!!! It goes on so smooth, and a little goes a long way! It absorbs nicely, so you dont feel greasy.
