The sonicsmooth expertly trims the hair at the surface and does not affect the root of the hair. In addition the sonicsmooth, is specifically designed for the skin and finer hair on a woman’s face, which is different than that of a man’s. I am wondering if the pre treatment cleanser and post treatment serum are both non comedogenic (does not "clog" pores), and are fragrance free? My face is very sensitive to facial products, and my dermatologist advised me to use only non comedogenic facial products with NO fragrances. Can I use my own special cleanser before using this product and my own hydrating serum after using?

- Official Answer By Michael Todd Beauty - BEHello, good question - the sonicsmooth pre treatment cleanser and post treatment serum are non comedogenic and neither contain fragrances - only essential oils. However, you can use your preferred cleanser as long as it is drying as this is KEY to the most effective treatment. You can also use your own hydrating serum afterwards as well. Hope this helps! I have been using the Sonicsmooth AT-HOME SONIC DERMAPLANING SYSTEM for 4 years and absolutely could not live without it!!! I use it once a week with the charcoal cleanser and a new blade. It removes all of the peach fuzz and dead skin and it is amazingly easy to use! After I follow up with the soothing aloe gel, and my skin literally glows! Since you have now removed unneeded facial hair and dead skin your skin is open to receive all of your serums and lotions. I cannot live without the system!
