Glide the spatula lightly across the top of balm. Dot with fingertips and massage into skin. A little goes a long way. Use a rice-sized amount for the whole face. Can be used alone or with makeup. I love the silk canvas primer I often just put on the silk canvas after cleaning my face and use no make up at all Love it!

Not worth the money
My makeup lays WORSE on my skin when using this product. Increases the texture in my skin instead of smoothing it out. For the money, I was very disappointed. Also does not apply easily to the skin, it applies with a lot of friction which I do not like. Would not recommend.

Finding a good primer for my skin has not been easy since so many of them give my skin a grayish color but not Tatcha I am a woman of color and this primer not only made my skin look even and smoother it also made my makeup last longer though the day This is my go to even when I don't apply makeup!
