HOW TO ATTACH:
STEP 1. Twist off your shower head to remove it from the shower pipe.
STEP 2. Wrap the included plumber's tape around your shower pipe threads, then install the Shower Filter by twisting it onto the shower pipe. Use the wrench we've provided for extra elbow grease!
STEP 3. Re-attach your shower head by securely twisting it onto the end of the Shower Filter.
STEP 4. Once re-attached, run the water for at least a minute to activate your new filter & flush out any air bubbles for a seamless flow.
Pro-tip: To maintain your elevated shower experience, change the filter cartridge every 3 months.*

It works but it's plastic, not metal. I guess I should have figured based on the other color options but for some reason seeing the chrome and even holding it in my hand I totally thought it was made out of metal. Good filter, cheaply made
Worth the buy but i might replace with another one later on. It filters water good and my scalp has been a lot happier. Be careful when you tighten the mechanism as the bolt cracks extremely easily with pressure. This is my second purchase only because i bought quite a bit of refills.

In past I spent lots of money on different hair products to make my hair soft and shiny, but it was anyway getting drier and drier. Since I moved to another apartment in Japan, my hair became dull and coarse. Then I decided to switch to blonde and things just got worse, because since that time i realized that my hair became brassy and very dark. In Japan water is kept in huge metal water tanks, which with time is covered with rust inside and water contains lots of metal residue. As a result blond hair becomes brassy just in one month. But now I don't care. Kitsch was exactly I needed!!!! It literally saved my blonde hair. Now even my hairdresser gives me compliments on my hair and asks what I used. In addition, my skin became very sensitive since moved to Japan, it was always irritated and the cause of the rash remained a mystery even though I've changed around 5 dermatologists and took allergy test. But now my face is definitely less irritated and looks pretty. Now I can sleep because it's not itchy anymore. Now I know the culprit was iron and copper because I've already tried to filter chlorine before. I HIGHLY recommend this product.
