[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] On me (neutral-warm light skin), this shade (747) is a festive orangey red that makes my face look more awake and works perfectly with simple eye makeup and a bit of bronzer. The colored side is very pigmented and opaque in one swipe. If I apply a thin layer then press my lips together, the shimmer shows up nicely and looks refined. I did notice dryness if I skipped lip prep, but exfoliating lightly and applying lip balm first helps it stay manageable for a few hours. Some people may like to treat this as two lip products to wear separately, but I prefer wearing both sides together. The gloss adds shine and a more hydrated feel that the colored side alone doesn't give, and it gives a high-shine finish that looks amazing, in evening lighting. The downside to this is that while it provides a bold look perfect for events, you'll have to deal with a. Lot of transfer…the color stays on pretty well by itself but when layered with the glossy shiny side, you'll need to keep applying to maintain the look through the night unless you can avoid eating and drinking! It definitely requires touch-ups throughout the night. Amazing gloss when you're looking for a party lip if you don't mind the maintenance, which is fine since it's not an everyday color anyway. For the amount of product provided, it's a bit pricey, but the luxe gold packaging makes it feel special and gift-worthy too! I love this as a luxe holiday gift

This lip duo was a beautiful and fun shade for the holidays! It had a luminous gold sparkle to it which made it super festive! It was easy to apply and was very long lasting. The gloss is very glassy and high shine, but I do like to wear it separately because the lipstick tends to last longer without it!
