What is Benefit's stance on Animal Testing? Is this product Cruelty Free?

Since 1989, the Perfumes & Cosmetics companies of LVMH group (including Benefit Cosmetics) have not performed any tests on animals for our products - this was implemented long before the 2013 official ban set by the European Union. We are deeply committed to the elimination of animal testing. We're playing a leading role in developing alternative methods through our support of the "Fund for Alternatives to Animal Testing" in the United States. We also actively participate in validation studies of new alternative tests in the framework of the European cosmetics association, Cosmetics Europe. We are one of only a few companies to have invested in creating our own internal department to test raw materials and ingredients to further ensure the quality of our products and the satisfaction of our customers, which is our top priority. As a result, all Benefit products undergo very strict tolerance tests using non-animal methods during the development of each product to ensure quality and safety prior to market. Some customers expressed concern regarding the situation in China. Our products are made in Europe and for imported cosmetics, the Chinese health authorities order some test on animals: they require companies to make their products available to be tested in state-certified laboratories for registration purposes only, as it is currently their only recognized method to demonstrate product safety. This product is currently my go to. I love making my lashes look big and bold, and I always apply tons of mascara everyday. This mascara is great using on its own without having o use more! I love it .

Overall not bad
I am really not a fan of rubber bristle mascaras, so I was hesitant to try this one out. Overall, the product isn't bad. It looks fine but as soon as i put it on the curl from my lashes falls. They go flat and then wont hold a curl.
Benefit Has Many Benefits!
Love this mascara - I have tried many, many mascaras and none comes close to this product. It does what is says it would do - lifts & curls! All day beauty, I feel 'glamours' --once again!!
It's a lowkey evil
I have literally never written a review in my entire life but the toxic relationship I have with this mascara needs to be heard. I'm not that interested in makeup so I just bought what my friend told me and in the first two hours it's great—seriously it's great; but after those two hours, it becomes evil. The mascara smudges so incredibly bad onto my under eyes and I thought it was my fault since my skin was oily but no it's literally not because my skin is dry under my eyes. The effect you get when you first put it on is really cute and it washes off really easy with water but if you want something that won't make you look like a crazed demon— BUY SOMETHING ELSE.
NIce product!
I've always loved Benefit products and the roller lash is no exception. Heck it was even duped by certain other brands, lol. I think any mascara claims are going to depend on the lashes you're starting with. In this case roller lash always lifts and curls my lashes so it is an A+ in my book.
