Q
Can this be used with a vitamin C serum? If yes, which should be applied first?
Asked by Rose
Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand Engage
Yes, this can be used with vitamin C. We suggest applying these serums thinnest to thickest. Since this serum is on thicker side we recommend using it second unless your vitamin C serum is thicker or a pure oil, in which case you would apply it after the Azelaic Acid serum. Was this answer helpful to you

Wish I Had Used This Sooner!

I was embarrassed and tired of people commenting on my skin. They would ask "what happened to your face?! It's so red, did you get a sunburn?" I would buy products that said they were calming but not specifically targeting rosacea. I started reading more about it and self diagnosed myself. The...

I tried using this for my rosacea like it says it works for. Made me break out horribly and did not reduce redness.

I've been using this every other day for over two weeks now. My skin texture is generally good so I am mostly using azelaic acid as a preventative for uneven skintone. I've noticed the reddish area around my nose is slightly less red, but it may be too soon to tell if there have been any other significant changes. My skin tends to be sensitive to heavy cream or oily skincare formulas. I find this very easy to spread(dont have to use too much) and have had no breakouts. In the first two weeks, my skin tingled/felt itchy for about an hour after application(My skin did not feel tight or inflamed during this time though) The tingly feeling went away after consistent use and if used on dry skin vs damp. I also use hydrating toners after application

Typically I'm not a review writer but this product genuinely damamged my skin barrier like none other. I've only ever had my skin barrier damanged one other time by a cleanser I was trying out but that was not nearly as awful as this treatment. I started with it in the P.M. and then the following morning used it in the A.M. I have never witnessed my face get so mad and irritated by one product. It made my face turn red and get weltish looking dots around the entirety of my face. It took about an hour to finally calm down but since then, my skin texture hasn't been the same. It is very clear how damaged my skin barrier is by touch. The other time this happened to me my barrier healed after about 2 weeks and my skin was back to normal. I'm just hoping that is the same with this situation and that I didn't permanently damage it. Mind you, I should have done more research on this product especially knowing I have very sensitive skin. That is completely my wrong doing. I'm sure this works for many, just not my skin type! Figured I would write this to give us sensitive skin types a fair warning.
