Shake well to activate the two layers. Apply 2-3 pumps (6 to 8 drops) onto clean face and neck.

I had high hopes when I received this brightening serum. The packaging was very attractive and the serum smelled devine. Unfortunately, this serum did not work for me. I do not tend to have sensitive skin and can't remember the last time I had a reaction from a product, but this serum inflamed my skin. I tried it for a few days hoping the reaction was from another product, until I could not take it anymore. It made my skin red, itchy and a bit swollen.

I was so excited to see results after using this vitamin C serum. Used as directed, and after two days of using I broke out so bad. First day I did notice a gorgeous glow to my face, which made me excited to continue the use. Sadly after two weeks, my skin still rejected it and gave me the worst acne. My face was clear and smooth before use.

However, it left my skin feeling slightly sticky, which I didn't love. I would have preferred if it had more hydrating properties and made my skin feel softer. I used it for about a week and I didn't notice any brightening effects, so I can't comment on its effectiveness just yet —it may just require more time. Overall, it was decent, but I'm unsure if I'll continue using it. However, I would recommend this product to someone with different skin type then me like people with oily skin type. Also, the packaging was a bit unusual— the bottle came with a regular lid, and the dropper was separate in the box, which I found a little odd, though I'm sure there was a reason for it.

I've had mostly negative experiences with Vitamin C serums in the past, with some breaking me out, some doing nothing at all, and some just leaving my skin feeling like it's burning. Initially, I really did not expect to like this product, and I was hesitant knowing this is a fairly new brand on the market, but I was very surprised. I actually saw a difference in my skin after using this product for a few weeks. My skin looked brighter and more even toned, some of my more prominent acne scars were starting to lighten up, and my skin felt firmer. I've started using this in my everyday routine because I do really like the formula and product itself. The only drawbacks I found, which is why I gave it 4 stars, are the smell and the packaging. This product does have a pretty strong smell which I can see affecting some people. I'm sensitive to smells but it wasn't so bad where I would stop using it. The other issue I found was the dropper. No matter how gently or slowly I pressed down on the dropper button, the product would come pouring down on my face. I started dropping the solution onto my fingers first and then applying to my face to avoid this happening all the time. Overall I would recommend giving this a try if your in search of a new Vitamin C serum.
