Yes--cyclomethicone is not a great choice
Unfortunately, as another Reviewer has noted, I'm not comfortable with the cyclomethicone, as an ingredient. If you're looking for "natural", this isn't it. Got this as a sample originally but have ordered again. It's the product I didn't know I wanted! I use over moisturiser, a little goes a long way and leaves my skin - as someone commented - glowy! Feels satiny to use, not at all greasy. As someone over 50, I think it brings back a bit of that hydrated skin look from 30 years ago.

I would say that it is as good as any other primer. I didn't see any difference with my usual primer. The only thing that puts me off is the smell, too strong for me.
