Product is listed under the concern for dry scalp however I don't see mention of it in the details. Is it in fact intended for people with dry scalp. My daughter tends to have a flaky dry scalp but her hair also appears oily any suggestions?

Actually, we would recommend Nioxin Scalp Recovery Medicating Cleanser and Moisturizing Conditioner. The 1% pyrithione zinc in the products relieve these unwanted symptoms. You will be amazed. Was this answer helpful to you

Does this product testing on animals? Is it cruelty free? It's very important information you have to provide it for all products in your store. People have to know if they pay for animals cruelty
Asked by DdDo
Verified Reply - Staff ExpertResponse from Sebastian's parent company, COTY: "All of our products are cruelty-free. We do not perform, nor do we ever commission any third parties on our behalf to perform, testing of our products or ingredients on animals. COTY voluntarily ceased testing finished cosmetic products on animals in 1991, long before the official European ban on such testing in 2004, and we have been actively involved in the research and development of alternatives to animal testing for many years."Was this answer helpful to you

I have very fine, color treated hair. Is this a good option, or do you recommend another product from this line?

Q
Does this smell any stronger than Drench? I liked the way Drench worked, but I really couldn't smell it at all. I like my conditioner to leave my hair smelling nice. I loved the smell of Matrix Biolage, but that didn't have as good of results as Drench. If this smells stronger, I might try it. If not, is there another brand that works similarly to this one but has a stronger smell?
Asked by Scent Chaser
Verified Reply - Staff ExpertThe Sebastian Penetraitt Conditioner also has a very light scent. This product is superior in that it will add moisture and protein to mechanically damaged hair, however, if you are looking for a product with a wonderful smell, and that is also great for chemically treated hair, I would recommend Wella Brilliance; this product has a heavenly scent and leaves your hair feeling soft and manageable. Was this answer helpful to you

Q
Is this shampoo safe for keratin treated hair? I had a brazilian blowout done a few weeks ago and am currently using their shampoo and conditioner; however, I'm not really happy with it. I was told to only use a shampoo that is Paraben, sodium chloride and sulfate free.

Q
Hi, this product appears to have very similar ingredients to the Sebastian Drench conditioner. The most obvious difference is that these conditioners contain two different types of protein (silk vs milk, respectively), yet the Drench line doesn't claim to deep condition. I have naturally thick/coarse, coily hair and while my hair is generally healthy my ends seem to become dry and damaged quickly for no apparent reason. Too much protein makes my hair hard and breakage-prone. Should I purchase the Penetraitt or Drench line for a weekly moisturizing, deep conditioning experience?
Asked by Kellie
Verified Reply - Staff ExpertPenetraitt is designed for dry, damaged, over processed hair, and its primary purpose is repair. If you are seeking a conditioner that helps with moisture, Drench is definitely the best one to use, especially for coarse, curly hair. Was this answer helpful to you

My favorite conditioner of all time!!!

I purchased this conditioner during Ulta's liter sale earlier this year and I fell in love! I have wavy hair and my two daughters have curly hair with different curl patterns. I am constantly trying new products for the 3 of us because a product that works on one of us doesn't usually work for all...

A normal conditioner

I bought the shampoo and conditioner based on all the great reviews. While I do find this to be a good shampoo and conditioner, it certainly is not the best and doesn't justify the cost. I have fine dry hair due to coloring , I find that Bed Heads Resurrection treatment mask and shampoo work much b...

Favorite conditioner!

I have used this conditioner for years and will continue to in the future. It smooths, detangles and hydrates my hair. The bottle does require a pump otherwise it is very difficult to get the product out of the bottle. The product is thick and goes a long way. It makes my hair so soft and doesn't wrigh it down.

Loving this conditioner!

I was using a more expensive brand on my hair up to recently, when I decided to give this a try, in search for a more affordable, yet quality product. So far I have to say, I'm loving this!!! Conditioner leaves my natural, wavy long hair soft, manageable but doesn't way it down, and shiny. The texture is rich, creamy, and smells great, a plus, I love the bottle, sleek. Totally recommend and will be buying again as long as it works for me as great as it has so far…
