    Q
Are these safe to wear in the ocean, is it toxic to marine life?
    Asked by M
Official Answer By COOLA - Brand Engage
Reef safety is an ongoing focus, and at COOLA, we’re committed to staying ahead of the curve. We strive to provide you with the best products while also protecting the reefs in the places where we love to swim and surf. Since January 1, 2021, the Hawaii Reef Compliant Act 104 has banned sunscreens containing Oxybenzone and Octinoxate in Hawaii, as these chemicals can harm coral reefs and marine life. At COOLA, we ensure that none of our formulas contain Oxybenzone or Octinoxate, so every product you choose from us fully complies with the Hawaii Act (104). Additionally, we offer a range of 100% mineral formulas that meet the evolving standards of certain islands. Was this answer helpful to you

As someone who's always on the lookout for high-quality lip care products, I was absolutely blown away by the COOLA Liplux Original Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Lip Balm. This lip balm is a game-changer, offering so much more than just basic hydration. Here's a breakdown of why it's become my go-to lip bal...

    Looked used

I ordered this lip sunscreen online. It no longer comes in the box as pictured (or at least mine didn't), so anyone can just try it on anytime they feel like it. I'm pretty sure mine came from a store where someone tried it on, because even the sticker was brown around the edges like it had been ha...

    Regular lip balm

It was alright. I did not really see any difference on me and found it drying on my lips. For the price I don't think it's worth it.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I get really annoyed with most tinted spf lip balms. I don't really want to wear bright red lip orange or pink lip balm to the beach when I don't have on any other makeup. This is the perfect sheer slightly tinted balm that looks nude. And it doesn't have that disgusting sunscreen taste like sun bum. Just wish they had more neutral tinted options, like a nude peach! Also would LOVE a mineral option.

    Okay for the price

This has a slighty grainy texture and the tint is VERY sheer, pale, and has a cool undertone. This would probably not work well for someone with darker skin or very pigmented lips, but it's fine for me because I'm quite fair.

Not moisturizing. Does not stay on, i have to re apply a lot. Feels gritty when applying. The slight color is a nice touch but it does not feel anything like a chapstick.

The pigment was very minimal. It wasn't as hydrating as I would have hoped. And it had that sunscreen taste.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
