Nothing Special
It's mid. Leaves my skin feeling a bit dry. Does not cleanse well unless you double cleanse with an oil based cleanser before. For this price point, I would say it is not worth it.

This is the fussiest exhausting skin type because you always have to find the meticulous balance of hydrating gentle products yet still having your pores cleaned well enough without stripping or they congest within hours. Ive used many natural brand over the years form spa lines and otherwise to get quality formulations compared to the chemicals snd cheap fillers of most mainstream brands. I love the mission of Osea and that quality formulas but outside of body products never tried them out even thought they were in my radar as all their ingredients have sooo many butters and oils even the lighter formulas. This Ocean Cleanser and and the Day zmoisturizer had great reviews by many so finally tried out and what a sad fail. I love a gentle hydrating low foam cleaner so this gel cream formula was heaven. Feels so bkuncy and lush among the to die for smell of this product being floral lime like your dream summer body wash or mist. You can feel your skin so getting getting clean unlike most cream or milk cleansers as nice as they feel for those wirh pores they never clean enough. I loved that the wash used lactic acid which is a great gentle variety especially for blemish prone skin. I don't have sensitive skin at all to clarify and have used far stronger chemical exfoliants and actives in my serums for years between vit c, retinol, aha bha you name it. Per that I couldnt believe after using for 2 days morning and night I wasnt imagining this cleanser makes my face sting and then when washing off aftrr maybe 40 seconds of massaging left my cheeks and in between brows red. I truly dont think its the lactic but all the excessive oils and essential oils in it which is the themes of their products and the risk alwqlqys with natural brands as good as they look on paper. So bummed as was the best smelling and texture cleanser ive ever used snd skon felt smooth so hydrated and deep cleaned at the same tome but not worth the side effects. Hard to imagine someone eith sensitive skin even using it. While I loved the Day Lotion being so light milky yet amazingly hydrating absorbing effortlessly and leaving the best natural non greasy finish ot ended up giving my endless red breakouts I have no doubt per the algae and sea based ingredients that are a 50/50 chance of breaking out anyone acne prone. Happy for anyone these two products work for but sadly not me as I had hoped and back to my staple Kbeauty brands that never fail me! :)

This is the first purchase I have made with Osea. I was looking for a good cleanser that would clean without drying out my face. This surprising smooth creamy cleanser does just that. It has a nice soft scent and gently cleans away any remnants of makeup so easily that I hardly notice I have washed my face.
