I'm 42 with combination skin. I wear makeup pretty much everyday. Or can I go directly to the exfoliant immediately after the PreCleanse?

never thought i'd like "oil based"

I typically wouldn't buy an "oil based cleanser"... but a kind lady at Ulta recommended I use this before using the ultra calming cleanser (that will be another review- 5!) I have combo skin- sometimes dry patches, shiny nose, acne scars, and hormonal acne along the jawline. These reasons alone make...

I like it

Submitted 23 days ago

By Kim B

From PC Florida

It gets most of my tubing mascara off. I do use cere ve soap as my 2nd wash, and a also a toner, which takes the rest off. The only down is that it squirts out more than you need. I would buy again. It does not burn, nor leave a blurry film over m6 eyes, which many other brands of oils have.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Favorite 1st step in two part cleansing

Submitted 27 days ago

By Elizabeth

From Midwest

My esthetician recommends washing one's face twice and she said this is a great first wash to get the makeup and surface level impurities. She said the second clease with a cleaser will then be able to clean deep in pores. Don't ever want to be without this silky feeling preclease. It's one of my favorite products in my skincare routine. Love it and all Dermalogica products I've tried!

Broken pump lead to breakouts

Submitted 1 month ago

By Madison

From Tampa, Fl

My bottle had the defect where the pump was super sensitive, causing it to spray oil everywhere when applied pressure. After using the product fully, I unscrewed the top for the first time to use up the last little bit and I noticed there was mold and bacteria at the bottom. I was unaware of this while using the product for months and had developed REALLY bad acne. Puberty level acne. I've been in contact with Dermalogica directly informing them. One month later (after mold dicsovery) my skin has completely cleared up. I switched to Kiehls Midnight Recovery Cleansing oil and it's thriving!

Worth the Price for Clean, Hydrated Skin

Submitted 1 month ago

By Larissa

From Seattle, WA

Not only is this my go-to face cleanser each morning and evening, it also does an excellent job of removing my makeup after a dance show. Despite its strength, it leaves my combination skin feeling clean yet still hydrated. It's a bit pricey, but I find it worth every penny—plus, buying the larger size offers the best value. Recommended by my dermatologist, it's been a reliable staple in my routine for years. Though, keep it out of your eyes as I've had some minor irritation!
