Q&A

Q
Would this brush work well for applying baked highlighter?
Asked by Curious Makeup Consumer
Official Answer By Real Techniques - Brand Engage
Hi! For baked highlighter we would recommend our Light Layer Highlight brush (item #2560738) if you're looking for a flat highlighter brush, or our Rebel Edge Medium Brush (item #2550664) which has a curved edge! Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Would this brush work well for a pressed powder blush application?
Asked by Dean
Official Answer By Real Techniques - Brand Engage
Yes, for a more targeted blush placement you could use this brush. We would also recommend using the Real Techniques Blush Brush (Ulta item #2230002) or our Light Layer Blush brush (item #2560741) which features an angled head and has a lighter application! Was this answer helpful to you

Q
In the Q and A section, you refer several times to a buffing brush as being your favorite. Which brush are you referring to? I can't find "buffing " brush. Thanks
Asked by Susan
Official Answer By Real Techniques - Brand Engage
Hi there! I love that you are all about the product Q&A! That is so awesome! So, there are two kinds of brushes for buffing that we love here. The first is the Expert Face Brush (found here: https://www.ulta.com/expert-face-brush?productId=xlsImpprod4260015). This is one of our best selling brushes and is absolutely wonderful for buffing and blending. But the second one has become our best selling brush, even though it's still fairly new. It's the Blend+Blur foundation brush ... and It. Is. Amazing. It's found here: https://www.ulta.com/ulta/a/_/Ntt-Blend%20%2B%20Blur%20Foundation%20Brush?ciSelector=searchResults This brush is remarkable in how it works - the bristles are slightly denser, which is great for buffing, but also there's something in the way you hold the handle and how it contours to the angles of your face - it is just amazing. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Do you recommend this brush for applying and blending cream highlighter, or is there a better option?
Asked by Susan
Official Answer By Real Techniques - Brand Engage
Hi there, I think this would be a good choice for cream highlight. I would probably recommend applying it with the tip of the brush and blending in with more of the dense part. The other brush I would recommend, since I love the overall density of it, is our Blend+Blur Contour brush. I think the design of the brush head would work really well. You can find that here: https://www.ulta.com/blend-blur-contour-brush?productId=xlsImpprod16861017&sku=2518578&_requestid=253962 Thanks! Was this answer helpful to you

setting brush

My new favorite brush for concealer underneath the eyes! The tip of the brush is shaped in a way that is perfect for getting into the inner corners of the eyes and blending out concealer. I plan on purchasing another one of these brushes! So soft, such great quality, amazing value for how much I've ...

Much smaller than anticipated

When I ordered this, I thought this brush would be comparable to the Contour brush in the Face Essentials set, however it is much smaller and flatter. The brush head is about the size of a nickle. Would make a good eyeshadow blending brush.

Perfect for setting!

This is great for setting under the eyes and around the nose! I also use it to set my t-zone if I want to have that area matte but the rest dewy. I might get a second to use with my highlighter because it seems like it would be perfect for that as well.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Multi-use brush

I mainly got it for setting powder because of the reviews and price. but i ended up using it also for contouring around nose as well as for highlighting. love that it's the perfect size (and super soft) to touch up with powder around small areas of face, especially oily prone areas of the face where I used to struggle with my larger brushes. really happy with the additional of this brush to my kit, was totally worth the buy.
