I loved the old Elf eyeshadow primer! I not only used it for my eyelids, but it did a great job on my bridge to even out the redness without having to wear many or heavy products. Why why did we change the formula? This version is more liquidy and it takes a bit to dry - time I usually don't have. When I do have time it works well but not worth the change.

Finally an eye shadow primer that lives up to the hype! I have tried many other expensive eye primers that have fell short of my expectations. This really DOES LOCK DOWN my shadow all day, no creasing or touch ups necessary. At such a great value, I think I found my new favorite!

If it ain't broke why fix it?! I am NOT a fan of this new formula. It has a greasy consistency to it. I don't use concealer but I did use a little bit of the primer under my eyes. It helped with keeping raccoon eyes away and even though it was sheer it has a slight coverage. My shadow blended beautifully. This new formula almost causes raccoon eyes and my shadow cakes up with it. I love Elf Cosmetics! It's amazing quality and coverage for an affordable price. I don't know what Elf was thinking with this change though, it's a fail for me!

I'm happy with this primer. it really helps the pigments pop and makes the look more lasting than without. I have oily eyelids so everything usually completely wears off or settles in the creases but with this my makeup look lasted a good few hours more even with humidity.
