Worst packaging ever
Opening this has been the worst first time use experience I have ever had of a product. You open the tin and you see paper covering the balm. You remove it, that is fine. But underneath, you get a layer of a clear silicone looking product, not the balm itself. You pinch it and you start removing it,...

Great for frizzy, dry hair

I received this in my advent calendar and initially used it in my hands/nails, which was very nice. Then I read it could be used on hair, I am 45 with wavy to curly short hair and a significant amount of salt and pepper these days. It's much coarser and tends to frizz in the humid seaside weather where I live, so I tried a very small dab on my fingertips and worked it in by twisting strands into curls. What a miracle! So little went so far and made my hair soft and with a hint of shine. Not heavy or greasy at all! Buying the full size now! Way cheaper than my usual expensive mousse product!

I use it on my lips, cheeks... entire face. You can use it anywhere and it actually soaks in. I've had mine for over a year and no issues with spoiling at all. It's a miracle balm that has helped my skin and state-of-mind survive the harsh dry winter air.

This was my favorite product for fighting dry skin in the winter. It used to be wonderful. The last tin, however, I received has had product in it with a strong smell, like gasoline. The smell lingers for a long time. After trying to use it twice, I gave up on it, and plan to return it to a L'Occitane Boutique.
