In love
I received the small size as an item in my annual L'Occitane advent calendar. I opened it up in desperation yesterday as the cold has made my face painfully dry. When I tell you that this product is amazing- oh my god- within 1 application the pain was gone and my face was healing, and after the se...

Feels like sand is in it; Is this a scrub? Very annoying on the lips! I don't like this product at all. Product does not meet expectations. DO NOT waste your money.
Goes bad very quickly!

Goes bad within 6 months. Even an unopened tin. Total waste of money. Very disappointed!

Opening this has been the worst first time use experience I have ever had of a product. You open the tin and you see paper covering the balm. You remove it, that is fine. But underneath, you get a layer of a clear silicone looking product, not the balm itself. You pinch it and you start removing it, but it is not strong enough to be pulled off in one piece. So you have to do it by pieces, and you get small bits of it mixed up with the balm. You end up wasting a lot of product (which you use to lather up your hands), but it is still impossible to remove all the bits of this silicone layer from the balm. And it does not seem to be dried up balm, because it has the consistency of that layer that old jelly gets after days in the fridge, and if you try to rub it in it does not change consistency. So you end up having to remove these bits with paper, piece by piece from your balmy hands. I don't know if this is a defect, or if someone thought this was a good idea, but it was gross.

Bad smell and sticky
Reviewed at

I am a regular customer of Loccitant. It usually offers great quality and sustainable products. I'm very disappointed with this particular product as it smell bad and sticky. There is no differentiation with regular balms that you would find in drug stores (ex: Vaseline) but with premium price. I tried to return the product on the same day when I purchased it. But the salesperson said this is nonreturnable since I already opened the package. They seem don't pay attention to customer satisfaction. I'll have to really consider Loccitant products in the future.
