So glad I haven't had any of the side effects that a small number of people have experienced (dry, itchy, welts, blackheads) because this is, hands down, the best topical product I've ever used that has actually changed my skin.
I've been dealing with pitted atrophic scarring for the past 9 years. I've done everything short of laser treatments: microdermabrasion, acid peels, dermarolling, dermastamping, and have used other products that claim to fix pitted scars (rosehip oil, Niacid Slurp, prescription tret, etc.) Despite rolling, peeling, sloughing and everything in between, my scars persisted. I almost didn't even bother trying this after the massive letdown Niacid was, but I bit the bullet and gave it one last shot.
Now, is this a tiny little bottle? Yep. Is it expensive for the size? Double yep. Does the product start to pill once the product gets down to the end and has dried out a little bit? Also yep. But does it work??? ABSOFREAKINGLOUTELY. In 9 years I was 200% convinced that there was no topical on this planet that could combat permanent indented scars. The scarring goes down too deep, the scars are tethered, and they need invasive treatment to be reversed. In 5 weeks, Murad convinced me.
I get 3 weeks worth of product per bottle using it every morning and evening. I'm currently on my second bottle. I started seeing a bit of a difference around week 3. I'm around week 5-6 at this point. I still have 2-3 weeks to go per the Murad site about how long it takes to see change, so I can only assume the results are going to get better. I assume the changes I see in my face are permanent changes since my scars have definitely filled in a bit but I do have to be realistic with the fact that my face will never look as if I never had scarring. But when I apply makeup, sometimes I shock myself with how smooth my face looks. If you're on the fence, I say GO FOR IT.
I've been using this for about five weeks and a week in I noticed I had small white dots on the bridge of my nose where my glasses sit. I followed the directions (use AM and PM) and realized that my glasses sitting on top of the treatment not allowing the skin to breathe was giving me a chemical burn. The white dots turned into postules and my skin peeled pretty badly. I stopped applying it on my nose altogether but applied everywhere else on my face. Overall it goes on creamy and blurs imperfections but leaves my face looking oily throughout the day. I can't apply anything on top of it because it just doesn't layer properly. No noticeable improvement so far.

I been using for two days and every time I wake up my skin looks worst. Where I applied the treatment it ended up being red and I tried washing my face but same thing. It's like it burnt my skin.

I really wanted to like this but it just feels greasy on the skin and doesn't ever absorb. I'll put it on and go to work and at the end of the day it's still feels greasy to touch. I haven't noticed any difference I'm trying to use it up since it was so expensive but I can't wait to get a new scar treatment.

When using this, I had slight burn and tingling feeling on my face and after days of use, it got me cystic acne on my chin, cheeks, face. It doesn't work for me. Had to let go and change my skincare, again.

I put it in overnight and woke up with darker patches. My skin looks awful now :( I'm so upset because it's so expensive.

This stuff smells awful and the scent stays with you all day. Not very impressed with the results either. Also, stings a little.

I have very old acne scarring from when I was a teen on my cheeks, relatively smooth skin everywhere else. used this just on those areas and woke up to peeling skin with breakouts and a mild chemical burn. 100% not worth it. Been seeing an esthetician and my results with her peels have been MUCH better.

I have multiple acne scars and have tried a lot of things to get rid of them. I decided to give this a try and have had amazing results in 2 weeks. My scars have not fully gone away but they have gotten lighter and are starting to fade away! Def recommended to us hydrating lotion because it did dry out my face a little.

I have one scar on my neck from a spider bite that never healed so I decided to try this after seeing a display in Ulta. Last night I swiped some on the scar but had quite a bit left on my finger so I sort of blended it on my chin and jawline where I have had breakouts before, just thinking it might smooth everything out. I woke up this morning with little white pimples all over the places I put this product. I can't say if it'll do what it's intended to do but it's definitely not worth the risk for me.

So I had a pimple that left a dark circle on my forehead. I brought this cream and I seen results the same week. It's not completely gone but it so faded that you can't even tell it was there. I've been using for two weeks and I use in am and night. I also add a moisturizer on top of it. Since it's been working I stated using on my chin. Which dried the skin out slightly. However I just a moisturizer and it's fine. I highly recommend this spot treatment.

twice a daay under sunscreen works good

I've been using this 2x/day & no results. It pills after I put it on. It's nice & thick so it glides on easy & makes your skin very soft. I'm in my 40s & have horrible brown spots on my jawline from ear to ear. Makeup doesn't even cover them & I've tried tons! I get acne & cystic acne each month ecactly 2 weeks before my period starts. When I'm out in the sun, I get very dark so my tone evens out a little. I've just accumulated so many scars over the years that nothing has helped. What works for one may not work for another so don't let this dissuade you from buying this product. I'm still going to try their other products because you never know!

didn't see much improvement and then after 1.5 weeks the mixture would separate when it came out of the bottle. Oils and other mixture would separate

Although it's pricey this works ! I kept picking my acne and it left behind scars/ dark spots on my face. After using this for two weeks there is definitely a difference and they are lighter and smaller !

I got this as in a trial size. I don't have any scars on my face, but what I do have is sun damage. In particular, a really dark sunspot (like a large, dark freckle) under my eye that I've hated for years. Anyways, I e been applying it on this dark spot several times a day and I'm very pleased with the results. My dark spot is drying out and the layer underneath is less dark...which gives me hope that it will even6go away altogether. My sample size is .17 and has lasted me for weeks. I'm a huge sceptic of fancy products and is quick to say if a product isn't worth it, but this one has worked a miracle for me and is worth the cost.

When i first started using this it made my skin so much better. I had no breakouts and my acne scars were going away. However after using it for a couple weeks I ended up with a chemical burn. My skin was red, bleeding, and itched a lot. The next day my skin was completely dried out and started to peel. It's gotten better but is still peeling and still burns.

This is primarily dimethicone and as such the price point is not really acceptable. I use it on body scars, not my face. It has improved the appearance of a scar on my leg from a garden wire and a scar on my forearm from a bug bite (both over a year old). It has to be patted on because there is simply too much silicone for it to spread properly. I wouldn't purchase this unless the scar involves a pit/divot/uneven level on the skin. If you just want to fade spots there are better products to accomplish that.

I suffer from severe eczema on my face and NOTHING helped until this product! In less than a week my most aggressive spots are almost entirely flat and healing!
Aries from Houston
I really wanted to like this product but after a few uses my skin was irritated and had red marks where the product was applied. Not satisfied for that I paid.
Kimberly from Dallas, TX
Didn't do much. I switched and tried Cerave Retinol Serum and WOW. Now that works and it's half the cost!

This product has helped so much to fade out the redness and even out a lot of my pitted scars. Definitely worth trying for anyone with scars.
Veronica from Chicago
I guess for some people it works but for some it doesn't. For me it did nothing at all. It feels sort of greasy and didn't get rid of any of my scars or even lightened them. If your really interested in the product buy the smaller version first it doesn't work for everyone.

I'm using the 30 day kit my whole face is pealing I need to return this
Ani from New Mexico
Used this product for 2 months morning and evening and it didn't help with anything. It didn't help the pigment or fade the scars. For the price I was expecting GREAT RESULTS.
Maryana from California
This product is awful. I have been using it for almost 2 months and my scars are still visible, no improvement in my skin at all. It is so dry when you put it on the skin and it burns!!!! Not worth the money at all.
Anna from USA
I have cystic acne which has left me with tons of scarring. I got this product for Christmas and not even a month later 80% of my scars are gone. It hasn't broken me out or irritated my skin AT ALL and is well worth the price. I highly recommend this for new and old scarring because it is truly amazing.
