It took me too many years to realize my flaky oily hair and scalp just needed moisture. I've been using various types of ethique shampoo and conditioner bars for a few years now. I began using the hydrating shampoo and conditioner together a few months ago and it has made a world of a difference. My scalp isn't so itchy and tender, my hair is smooth and I'm not afraid to touch it because it's less likely to become oily as fast. If you're like me and new to the idea of shampoo and conditioner bars, I highly recommend the switch! I just recently decided to try them and after a little research, I decided to go with Ethique where I chose this bar shampoo and its matching conditioner because of the fact it doesn't contain coconut oil (a huge factor for me because I'm allergic to coconut oil, though not it's derivatives). My hair is very fine and my scalp is very sensitive, but this product leaves my hair hydrated, weightless and. I also find that it leaves my hair silky and shiny. The smell is also a sweet candy-like smell that I very much enjoy and the shampoo lathers very well after only a few swipes on wet hair. The conditioner takes a little time to apply and doesn't have an immediate effect, but after leaving it on for a few minutes, my hair is left incredibly soft and tangle free while rinsing. All in all, I am absolutely in love with this product and plan to be a loyal customer so long as its not discontinued.
