My skin is so incredibly dry, and occasionally very acne prone. Using this super light serum before a heavier water based cream preps my skin, keeps me feeling hydrated, and makes sure I retain the moisture, all without causing a breakout. There is a noticeable difference between when I do and don't apply before another moisturizer. This is also just one of my favorite lightweight moisturizers. If I'm traveling and forgot my heavier creams this will still save me from peeling skin in a pinch, which I've found is not always the case with light moisturizers.
