My favorite scent!
I tried this in a store, and came back a week later and bought a whole bottle. I couldn't stop thinking about it! It's a warm subtle scent that I can't get enough of! I got it last spring and have worn it all Summer. Although it's marketed as a tropical scent, the warmth makes me want to continue to...

Too sharp!
I really wanted something warm and tropical, or a beachy summer vacation sort of vibe. This was not it. The first moment of the spritz was nice, almost sherbet-y, but then as it settled, the sharp scent came in and it stayed. I had forgotten that I didnt like that overwhelming grapefruit smell of...

So in love with this fragrance! I bought another one! I hope this stays!!!!
perfect for end of summer
I picked this up after smelling it at the store. Lively, pretty citrus, not too sweet, just a bit of some cocoa warmth. I'm not fond of most beachy fragrances, especially those with too much coconut. It's s subdued enough for the office. Not the greatest staying power. I'm really enjoying this, which my husband also really likes.

Im a sucker for limited editions. This one is worth every cent!!!!
Allergic Reaction
I really wanted to love this because I am a fan of Clinique Happy perfumes. Sadly, this particular scent did not work for me. It gave me an allergic reaction - my neck turned bright red and became very itchy. I own other Clinique Happy perfumes (The original, In Bloom, In Love), which I enjoy very much. None of those give me any adverse reactions. I am so disappointed with Happy in Paradise. I recommend trying the rollerball size first if you are on the fence.
Too sharp!
I really wanted something warm and tropical, or a beachy summer vacation sort of vibe. This was not it. The first moment of the spritz was nice, almost sherbet-y, but then as it settled, the sharp scent came in and it stayed. I had forgotten that I didnt like that overwhelming grapefruit smell of the original. This actually made my throat feel almost itchy every time I smelled my wrist. Tingly maybe? Its hard to describe. It wasnt an allergic reaction- it just felt nauseating. I kept hoping that as it settled down, but nope. Sharp and buzz-y and intense. It ended up making me repulsed. I returned it on the same day. That being said, if you loved the original, you would probaby like this too!
