If you do spray it on dry hair, I would be cautious to evenly distribute from roots to ends and brush the product through your hair. A nice addition to my curly hair routine
I'm a big fan of Innersense products for my 2c-3a curls, but I didn't like this one when I first tried it. Then I read a tip from another reviewer about adding this to the I Create Volume gel. Now I add 2 sprays of Hair Love Prep Spray to a little of the gel in my palm, rub my palms together to emulsify, and rake it through after applying Quiet Calm. As with all of the Innersense stylers, using a small amount and applying to wet hair is key. This adds just the right amount of body and hold for me.
