I LOVE Bio Ionic curling iron so much, so i had a high expectation for this iron as well. This isn't bad but I was not impressed like when I used the curling iron. Damaged and broke off my hair so badly my hairstylist could not even color my hair ( using it at 280-320) and had to trim off the broken and fried hair. She was shocked and for the first time with her doing my hair for over twenty years had never seen my hair damaged. I had bought this flat iron because you promote it's better and less damaging. I also bought your gold pro dryer and it is no better. I am now unable to use any color on my roots over 4 months because of the damage and I'm still having to grow my hair. May take me over a year or more. I'm miserable.

Why the style change?

This new design is way too bulky. It is larger than the older gold pro. I'm confused to why they would make it larger and harder to hold. The only reason I have this is because I had to send my old gold pro back because it was having an issue and they sent this to me. While I appreciate them replacing the flat iron, this one is not gonna work for me.
TERRIBLE ON FINE HAIR: Rough plates catch hair

The Gold Pro was terrible on my fine hair. I had it on a low setting but it still broke off a lot of hair. The plates are rough and caught my hair, damaging it. I bought this one for travel. I have been using the BioIonic OnePass flat iron for 2 years and love it but after one try with the GoldPro my hair was so damaged I will never use it again.

Super nice flat iron! Love the design, feel, and function of it. The temperature options are great, and the on/off button is in a convenient place where it won't be shut off accidentally.
