I'm very fair skinned (red tint) and tried a few other "tinted moisturizers" that I hated. I live in Florida and chose this because of the high SPF. I've never worn foundation, as I like to be as natural as possible, And this product is exactly what it says it is.
The tint is quite visible on my fair skin, so I'm sure to go into my hairline and a bit below my chin as well. I got three compliments the first day of how nice my skin looked - it evens out complexion and leaves you with a glow.
I first spray my face with Mario Budesdco rose water then use a pearl size of the origins product. I find it is a bit thick and I don't want to pull my skin by rubbing it in too hard, so the rose water helps for ease of application. It appears sunscreeny until it absorbs, then I continue with my bronzer which mattes it out a bit.
Love love love!
I went to an actual Origins store to replace the C&C tinted face cream. Well Origins did it again, discontinued another product that I love. OK to I bought the GinZing as a replacement. It is ok but it is too thick and my face feels oily at the end of the day. the C&C lotion was awesome and did not feel like that. I would only recommend this product if you have dry skin. Not a fan. Now I have to go out and search for new tinted lotion since I do not wear makeup. Not too happy.

I love this so much for the SPF 40 & soft tint to my skin that matches perfect no matter the time of year. It's quick and easy & looks super natural! It's not the most long wearing but easy to touch up by blotting or powdering!

Since it's called tinted I expected this to provide light coverage for evening out redness, similar to a BB cream, but it's completely sheer on my light skin tone. I should have realized that because you don't choose an option that matches your skin tone, it's just one product option. The product out of the tube is white and a tiny bit textured, so I understand the reviews from customers who say it doesn't blend well for all skin tones.
Even though it doesn't provide the tint I was hoping for, I can still wear it under my make up. It's a tiny bit greasy, so I'll wear it in place of moisturizer. All in all it does help me consolidate one step of my morning routine, just not the one I expected.

As a moisturizer I think it's good. I like the coverage it gives, the smell is fine, I also think the color is good. My problem is that it stains everything. Even after I wash my hands I wipe them on my white towel and I can still see color. I only wear this when I have dark colors on because I don't want this on my clothes. I don't think I would buy again because of that reason

It didn't work for me! It may work for others. Fells so heavy on the skin like if you have a whole layer of oil and oxidized horrible, tried to make it work with setting power and stil oxidized. wish I could return and get my money back!!

Very nice filling perfect for people who don't like much makeup!

I've replaced my high end primers with this and it does the most with providing a perfect glow while holding makeup in place. It does not irritate or breakout my sensitive skin. I do wish the "tint" was more noticeable on my medium skin tone. They should expand the color range, but I love the product and will continue to purchase.

I've tried at least a dozen SPF tinted moisturizers from other brands in the past but this one from Origins has become my absolute favorite! I've been using it for at least 5-6 years and will never switch to another brand's product. It is light weight with a subtle tint & coverage that makes your skin look amazing, it blends beautifully and has excellent SPF -- hydrating, but not greasy or whitish. My aging skin looks so much better, yet still very natural, with this tinted moisturizer. I add a little cream-to-powder type blush on my cheeks, set my skin with a few swipes of BM's Hydrating Mineral Veil, add mascara & lip tint -- quick & easy - done! Did I say I love this product? Well, I do! :)

Can't often claim this, but everything Origins advertises about this product is true. I've tried so many other tinted moisturizers - high end - and nothing, absolutely nothing compares to this.
On my mature (fair) skin this offers just the right amount of coverage and color, with a beautifully healthy, natural glow! It truly makes your skin look good. Really really good.

I usually only write a review after I have used a product for a while but I could not wait to tell you how much I love this!!! I chose this as a free sample when I was placing an order because I had read about it and was very curious. I just tried it this morning and it is fantastic!! It looks natural. My skin has never looked so flawless. It evens out your skin tone and gives you a nice natural glow and it looks like I am wearing nothing!!! Just born that way, lol. I will be ordering this in the full size. For the record I have medium white skin and this matches perfectly. With just a little night bloom tinted balm and mascara I'm all set. And the 40 spf means no sun damage while I'm outside this summer. Thank you Origins!!! You hit the bullseye with this product.

I have been using it every day for 7 months and it's still not empty! I don't use a pea size amount either, more like a quarter. I love how it has a light tint and dries quickly. I use it under my foundation.
Frankie from New Jersey
I do not like most moisturizers with SPF because they always seem so greasy on my face. Not this one. It absorbs nicely and leaves a healthy looking tint. I actually enjoy using it, plus it has a pleasant smell.

This is a great option if you don't like heavy foundation coverage - particularly in the hot summer - but still want coverage to blend imperfections.

I have been a long time customer and I love everything Origins but this was a huge disappointment. It made me look so ashy. Origins, please have a shade for dark skinned people as we are also your customer.
My #1 tinted moisturizer (foundation). It really does even out skin tone and it's, imo, nearly a foundation because it does provide some coverage and it makes even mature skin look good.
So glad Ulta carries this because it's become harder to find. If you have very light/ivory skin please know that this will noticeably darken within a minute after application, but super easy to include your neck area so it's nicely blended and I think it'd be perfect for spring/summer. It's kind of magical, it's that good!

I have fair skin in the winter and tan easily in the summer. This product has adjusted wonderfully to skin tone change and I love it.

I'm on my third tube of this. I'm a product junkie and I've tried so many tinted moisturizers with spf in so many price points and this is IT. It stays put, blurs my imperfections, doesn't break out my sensitive skin, and doesn't run/melt off by the end of the day. Every time I wear this, people tell me I have great skin (lol no I don't - this just makes it look great). I will keep buying this and recommending it.
Jennree from Texas
This product was given to me in lieu of the original freebie (which had sold out). It's a full bottle (which is generous) but doesn't work for dark skin. And unfortunately,I have no one to give it too. I hate to throw it away. An alternative freebie for all skin types would have been better or no freebie at all.
RoseAsh93 from ND
I truly love everything about how this foundation wears and looks on my skin. Sadly, I will not be buying it again unless.
It's a light coverage and doesn't feel like I am wearing anything on my face which is important to me because I feel claustrophobic when I can feel makeup on my skin. It acts more like a blurring finish. If I want more coverage I will add a pressed powder foundation and/or tinted setting powder on top for a light to medium coverage.
Here is why I will not buy again, and will most likely switch all my skincare away from this company: Origins formulates with ingredients that are damaging to the reef. If they reformulate to make this reef safe I would buy again. I find this product especially wrong to purchase since this has an SPF element to it and touts itself as clean skincare. I think it's a product that makes consumers feel like they are being conscientious about how they shop without this brand making items they sell safe. This company is a brand that is feel good ethical consumption without putting in the work to formulate ethically (which is the bare minimum).

If you have acne-prone skin, I don't recommend this. I'm always a fan of origins products but this one is a no-no for me. It broke me out once when I used it before running errands, but I didn't know it's from this tinted moisturizer so I used it again the other day. And it broke me out like crazy and my husband even said "you always have good skin, why do you have a lot of acne right now?" I was so upset because it was a week before an important event in my life.
Also, the texture of this tinted moisturizer is very thick and super greasy on my face. I've waited for a while to see if it will sink into my skin or be less greasy but it didn't, it just sat there and made my face very oily right after I applied it. I did try applying the setting powder but that didn't help much, I still feel greasy, heavy like I have a thick layer of sunscreen on my face. So disappointed because I have 99% of the product left and I can't use it anymore.

I love this sunscreen! When I first used this, I was unsure about the tint but now I love it. Makes my skin look so dewy with a hint of tan. Does not make me breakout either. Great product!
Alexis from MD
I love Origin's products so I tried this in spite of some of the negative reviews about a ghostly shade on your face. It does not look promising in the tube, but if you use a pea size amount it works wonderfully. It gives a nice finish to my skin and protects from harmful rays. A must have for the summer.
Kit from Montana
I tried this today for the first time. Unfortunately, it is not the product for me. I am too fair skinned for this to look natural and in my efforts to make it look even, I had to get it fairly close to the eye area, but not directly on my eye area but it is still causing a lot of eye irritation. My eyes have been watering and burning for the last 15 minutes. Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to continue using this. Money wasted.
JERS from California
I love that it gives you just a hint of tint, lots of sunscreen and moisturizer all in one product. I have sensitive skin and I never have any issues with this product on my face. I use this every single day. I put it on under my make-up or instead of make-up. I would be so lost without this product!
MJ from Columbus Ohio
I was nervous because of the price point but this stuff actually is worth it. A little bit goes a long way. I found that excessive amounts did lead to the tint rubbing off as other people said, but I don't have that issue if I use about a dime size on my whole face (yes it covers fully). I have combination skin so it gives me a nice glow without making my skin look oily.
Ashley from Fort Lauderdale, FL
I love this tinted moisturizer, perfect for a no-makeup look
