Will the Isopropyl Alcohol and Benzyl Alcohol that are in this conditioner dry out the hair when using this product?
Asked by Haircare Buff
Official Answer By Redken - BE
Hi there, thanks for your question. Alcohol may be present in many categories of hair, cosmetic and hygiene products such as hair styling products, foundations, perfumes and deodorants. It facilitates the penetration of active ingredients and promotes the deposit of ingredients on the skin or hair. Every ingredient is meticulously selected and rigorously tested to ensure optimal efficacy and safety within our professional-grade solutions. Was this answer helpful to you

Q
Hi! What silicones are in this?
Asked by Natalie
Official Answer By Redken - BE
Hi there! Thanks for your interest in our Frizz Dimiss Conditioner. Silicones are used in some cosmetic products due to their unique sensory benefits and properties, such as long-lasting effect in lipstick. They also provide shine and softness in shampoo and other hair care products. The silicones we use allow us to achieve a wide range of textures and a high level of product performance, especially in terms of shine and lightness. Scientific evidence does not suggest that hair products containing silicones have a negative impact on scalp health (greasing or other undesirable effect), nor are they comedogenic. As with every fatty acid from mineral or natural origin, the silicones are non-comedogenic when used in an appropriate dose in cosmetic products. To identify silicones in our products, look at the ingredients list on the packaging. They can be found under names such as DIMETHICONE, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, DIMETHICONOL, PHENYL TRIMETHICONE, AMODIMETHICONE, and CYCLOMETHICONE. Should you require further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.Was this answer helpful to you

Q
What is the best way to get this out of the bottle? Excuse my ignorance this is my time buying the large bottle and I did not have issues with the small bottle but the large bottle gets an air pocket and even if a good shake brings the conditioner down it seems to need extreme pressure to squeeze out. I have never had to wrestle a conditioner bottle before.

Q
I have really curly hair that is really frizzy. I live in North Carolina and the humidity is 100 percent most days in the summer. How do I control the frizz? I was told not to wash your hair more than twice a week and condition every day. Is this true?
Asked by Frizzed out in NC!
Official Answer By Redken - BE
Hello Frizzed, We cannot say how many times you should wash your hair; that all depends on your hair and scalp. Most people can go anywhere from 2-3 days between shampoos. This line will definitely help! We would recommend trying our Frizz Dismiss Rebel Tame Heat Protectant Leave In-Cream. Redken's Frizz Dismiss Rebel Tame Heat Protectant Leave In-Cream smooths out even the frizziest of hair and protects from heat up to 450 degrees. Suitable for all hair types. Best for unruly frizz. Sodium chloride-free and sulfate-free. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

Surprisingly Pleased! Try it!

Being a fan of the original formula of Frizz Dismiss, I was hesitant to try this product after reading the negative reviews, HOWEVER I am very pleased I did! This formula is sodium and sulfate-free - another major plus, as I color my hair regularly. The smell didn't bother me at all, and my hair r...

I have copied what another review summed up perfectly. I love the contents but the bottle is impossible to squeeze out product especially with wet hands! I would gladly appreciate manufacturing to rework this impossible squeezing obstacle. I can not squeeze it to get the conditioner and shampoo o...

so I used this product because my hair is wavy and frizzy. I hoped this product would help, it actually surprisingly, made it worse. I got the collection and im on week 2. my scalp is really itchy, dry, and I either have build up or dandruff I can't tell but im flaking. frizzy to the max, I tried to straighten my hair yesterday and 2 hours later it was even worse. It isn't hydrating, I still used my leave in for my ends and my k-18 oil to help make my hair feel soft. but no. I wish this product worked for me :( I'll be giving it to my boyfriend as he has thin/straight/oily hair. and it tends to work great for him

I feel that this has set me back a bit as I have noticed more breakage, less growth, even with normal routine trims. Didn't really notice much of a difference in frizz either. Would not recommend. For reference, I have 3c/4a curls.

Great product, not great packaging

I really like this conditioner and it works very well for my fine 3 graying curls. This bottle is MUCH cheaper than spending $25 on a 10 ounce bottle. However, I have to admit that it is very hard to get the conditioner out. I usually spend 15-20 minutes trying to squirt conditioner into my 10 oz more manageable bottle. The squirt opening on this big bottle is just WAY too small. But I still buy it because I love the product and it's cheaper.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
