Just wanted to remind Faith from Georgia that this product is a conditioning rinse, NOT shampoo. Therefore, it isn't supposed to lather. Paul Mitchell makes great products and the best part is that they aren't tested on animals.
I decided to purchase this product because I have made the switch to cruelty free products. I have been using it for a little over a week. I already have thick hair, but I did not pay attention when the bottle said it was for fine hair, because in my experience, conditioners always say they'll thicken hair and don't have much of an effect. Well, I'll believe Paul Mitchell from now on. My hair is much thicker now. But unfortunately, as others have mentioned, it's unbearably greasy and it feels gross to run my fingers through my hair now. I read a review that says the residue protects the hair from heat, but I flat ironed my hair today and the greasy-ness honestly made the process very unpleasant. My lip is curled up as I write it, remembering how gross my hair felt. I felt like I was doing something very wrong by heating up that residue and pressing it deeper into my hair. Perhaps I should rinse more thoroughly or use it only a few times a week, but I have used conditioner daily my entire life and I have never had this problem before. I think conditioner should be simple. I don't think I should make a bunch of behavioral changes to make a product work. It smells great, and I do intend to try Paul Mitchell again, because I think the company has integrity and I've heard great things from my hair stylist friends. Unfortunately, I won't be repurchasing this line of his products.

After trying multiple conditioners for oily hair, this has the best results. Noticeable difference in added volume that lasts. Lightweight, non-greasy.

Very bad product. Leaves a waxy residue that makes your hair feel dirty and weird

The shampoo made my hair dry but once adding the conditioner I noticed a difference. Wasn't too impressed with the overall outcome but would buy again if it's last resort.

Makes my hair feel super sticky and weighed down once dried. Also seems to make it very tangly.

I can certainly tell this conditioner is adding volume to my hair. I only use it on the ends of my hair and I can see the fullness. The smell isn't terrible, but not my favorite either. This is a personal opinion though. True to volume description and isn't leaving my fine hair strands heavy with build-up

Makes my hair so soft & silky with super body!!! I can't understand why I left Paul Mitchell products but we're back together now.

I tend to have oily hair normally but I have NEVER used something that left my hair feeling the same as before I washed it. it left my hair feeling super greasy. doesn't matter how much I use.

I absolutely love paul Mitchell products, but this one is so far from being it that I felt compelled to write a review :( I have thick, dark hair (I'm Italian!) that does get greasy easily but also needs a super good detangler. This conditioner weirdly tangles my hair to the point I can barely comb it after the shower. I end up breaking my hair and have knots that are impossible to get out. I've even tried combing the conditioner through my hair in the shower, but as soon as my hair leaves water and slightly dries it practically dreadlocks. It is very lightweight, I give it that, but almost lightweight to the point you feel like you didn't even condition.

I have thin, pin-straight hair, that tangles into a rats nests no matter what I use. I purchased the conditioner along with matching shampoo, and it works amazing!! I can comb through my hair with total ease. I highly recommend

I bought this thinking it would be good. I only use conditioner on my ends of my hair. And I only wash it at time that way my hair can air dry while I am sleeping that way I am not putting more heat on it. But ever since I have used this conditioner I have had to dry my hair that way I don't wake up with my hair being greasy. For the price that you pay for the big bottle is not worth it since I have had to go out and buy another one.

I use this with the same shampoo and I love the volume and texture I get using this combo for my thin hair

This is the best conditioner for my hair, hands down. I have super fine but dense hair that's oily at the roots and dry on the ends. My struggle has always been that most conditioners leave a residue on my hair, but this stuff somehow provides the moisture I need without weighing my hair down or leaving a film on the strands. For reference, I use this in combination with the PM Shampoo Two, which controls the oil at my roots.

I wanted to love this conditioner. The first two times I used it is seemed lightweight and my hair was really soft. The third time I used it heavy buildup occurred. I didn't use any products to blow dry my hair and when it was done I ran my fingers through it and it felt tacky and like I hadn't rinsed my conditioner out even though I did. I will say it doesn't look greasy but it's definitely hard to run your fingers through it and afterwards you need to wash your hands. So far the look of my hair is okay the buildup isn't causing visible grease but I do think it will look piecey after I haven't brushed it for a few hours.

It left my hair a little snarely

After a couple of washes with this conditioner, my hair began to get greasier after showers. My hair would feel gross as soon as I dried my hair. I also noticed white build up start to appear on my hairbrush. I bought the huge bottle, so I am alternating it with another conditioner. My hair doesn't look or feel nearly as good as it did prior to using this conditioner.

I personally really enjoy this conditioner. I tend to utilize it after applying the Super Stong Shampoo, that's also by Paul Mitchell. My hair feels smooth, healthy and bouncy.

Love Paul Mitchell products. This was not what I was expecting. Smell is decent, waxy consistency, made my hair feel dried out and even more tangly.

Great for everday use...

This is the worst conditioner I've used. Straight out of the shower, my hair felt fine, but once dried the hair felt like it had a film over it and was very hard to brush through. My hair became so tangled that brushing through it caused a lot of breakage.

DO NOT PURCHASE this is the worst shampoo and conditioner I have ever purchased. It leaves my hair dry, frizzy and super oily. I feel like I haven't washed it in days even though I just got out of the shower. I really wished I had read the reviews and not wasted my $. This was not cheap and I purchased both shampoo and conditioner DO NOT BUY, WORST SHAMPOO/CONDITIONER EVER!!!

I purchased both the Extra Body Shampoo & Extra Body Conditioner in trial sizes! My first try I used both which I feel wasn't necessary for my hair. I next used the Extra Body Conditioner after Paul Mitchell "Shampoo One" and my hair had the extra body which I need. I always take my hairdresser' advice to inky use a small amount!! My hair texture feels somewhat better and I will continue with the conditioner ...so far so good😊 Note: sometimes when posting a review I've noticed some post under the wrong product such as posting a review on shampoo under the subject of "conditioner".

a very waxy, heavy feel for a volume conditioner. It also stinks like an unscented wax candle. =( My hair does have body but I can't get past the awful smell.
