I have wavy medium textured hair which I color and I blow dry and flat iron every day and I would like to know if you can use both these products together on towel dry hair before blow drying. The Wella Flowing Form Anti Frizz Smoothing Balm and the Wella Thermal Image Heat Protection Spray. Or is it not necessary to use both. Which product is the better one to use and which one would you apply first. Does the Smoothing Balm have heat protection? Also if you use both would it be a heavy feeling. Thank you.

- Verified Reply - Staff ExpertI would recommend using both the Wella EIMI Flowing Form Anti-Frizz Smoothing Balm and the Wella Thermal Image Heat Protection Spray. Apply the Smoothing Balm after you get out of the shower on freshly shampooed and conditioned, towel dried hair. Emulsify product in your hands and apply from mid shaft to ends. This will be great for creating a mirror-like shine. Next, spray on the Heat Protector, root to tip, to protect your hair from the heat of your hair dryer and hot tools.Was this answer helpful to you

I am using the Wella Brilliance poo and con. I was attracted to these because of the "FREE FLOWING" description given which is what I want for my hair. This product says the same. Can I use to control some frizz but with AIR DRYING instead of a blow dryer? and possibly on some days after air drying, still be able to use a curling iron to define curl?

Does not control frizz
This product is easy to use, is not sticky or heavy but it also does not control frizz. My hair looked great after use however, by mid morning my hair had frizz. Why bother? Will return, even on sale it is not worth the money spent.

I have very curly hair and this helps tame the frizz when applied to damp hair. My favorite use is for smoothing my hair when pulled into a ponytail. I have some unruly curls that won't stay down but this product keeps it on place without any buildup. I just ordered two more bottles.

I've tried many products that claim to control frizz. Humid days completely wreck my hair. I had given up finding anything that worked. My stylist is always trying new products and used flowing form on me during my last appt. I went out the next day and bought it. I've used it every day since. It doesn't dry my hair out and so far has really helped control frizz. I hope you have the same results!
