Great Product!!
I was so excited to received this Effaclar Micellar Water by La Roche Possay, It did a great job, this is one of the best micellar water that I have ever tried, it cleaned so we'll on my skin, super easy to get rid my make up, the scent is soft, not too chemically, I used to wash my face with the fo...

Effective, but at a cost
The Effaclar Micellar Water for Oily Skin is probably one of the most effective micellar waters I've ever used when it comes to removing my eye makeup. I used my usual trick of wetting a cotton pad and holding it over an eye for a few seconds before wiping and it came off more quickly and with less ...

Has fragrance
Assumed that it would be fragrance free since a majority of their products are but nope! Super strong floral scent & left my face feeling itchy. Broke out too. Wouldn't recommend at all unless they change their formulation with no scent.
Not suitable for sensitive skin
Everytime i use this my skin gets really red and irritated.
Not hygenic
What is the point of the seal, if it's only applied to the flip top part of the cap? You can still completely unscrew the cap. It has no seal. Apparently Ulta does not allow pictures anymore or I would post one.
Sadly, burns my eyes
I use a ton of other LaRoche-Posay products. That said, I have a really really difficult time finding Miscellar water that doesn't sting my eyes. (thus far, the ONLY one I can use is Nuxe rose, which is scented but somehow doesn't sting!?) I am seemingly allergic to many things.
Leaves residue, strong fragrance, uncomfortable.
I've been using La Roche Possay's Effaclar Moisturizer & Benzol Peroxide spot treatment for months now & have repurchased those products a couple times, I absolutely love them. I have sensitive, combo, acne prone skin & I'm a 32yo mom w/a busy schedule. I use micellar water at least once but sometimes twice a day if i don't have time to wash my face so my skincare routine depends on micellar water. I've been using Burts Bees Micellar Water for a year & it leaves my skin just as clean as if you'd actually washed your face. This one from La Roche Possay leaves a irritating, tacky, uncomfortable residue, it's actually terrible. It ended up breaking me out just the same as if i had skipped doing skincare entirely. La Roche Possay's products all have the same fragrance but in my others it's very subtle & has never caused irritation but this Micellar Water is MUCH stronger & im assuming thats the issue here. I usually give products a week or 2 to decide if it works for me but I can't force myself to keep putting this product on my face knowing that it is 100% going to cause painful cystic acne. Its 2024 WHYYY are these companies still putting fragrance in skincare? Especially the skincare for acne prone/ sensitive skin types… just whyyy?
