The Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream is specially formulated for very dry skin types and, as such, is not oil-free. If you have oilier skin, I would recommend trying the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. I was accustomed to using the Yellow Dramatically Different Moisturizing lotion, and have been using it for years. However, I was looking for a thicker formula for the winter months. This cream is great. Thicker but not too thick. It goes on smoothly and I like how my skin feels afterwards.

I have tried dozens of moisturizers for my sensitive Rosacea skin. I have tried all brands and I came back to Clinique. This cream NEVER stings. All other moisturizers sting. This is super hydrating. It does not contain any harsh ingredients or exfoliants, Vitamin C, Retinol, etc. It is simply a basic moisturizer that protects, moisturizes and does not sting. I recommend this for people with compromised barriers, Rosacea, eczema, etc. I find that it is better than the Clinique Redness Relief although Redness Relief is also a good moisturizer. The Dramatically Different Cream moisturizes more than Redness Relief. Both are great for sensitive skin.

This is definitely too thick to wear under make up on a regular day, it made me break out a little. However, as a night cream it is great! I do want to try it under makeup when I am skiing or doing something outside in the cold, because I feel like it would protect my skin better than the lotion.

I've used the regular yellow lotion for 30 years. I'm now 47 and find my skin is getting drier and I need something a bit thicker. This is exactly what I was looking for and I now use it daily. I only wish it came in a bigger container!
