This refill fits into your existing Double Wear Matte Powder Foundation compact.
To insert refill: Remove used powder by lifting blue base to get underneath. Press base of powder with both thumbs until it pops out. Insert new refill. Snap into place.
Customize your coverage with the two-sided applicator:

I've been wearing 1N2 Ecru Double Wear foundation for years. This powder is way lighter in color, making me almost a ghost. The formula change is terrible. I can't believe a company like Estee Lauder would make such a change. Somebody must have been asleep at the wheel to let this take place. I have switched to Lancome after having been an Estee customer for over 30 years.

I went to the Estee Lauder coutner and per the consultants advice purcahsed Pebble. WhenI got home and tried it one it was significantly darker. I returned to the store and the consultant said they are continously having problems with that shade. She showed me the store sample and compared it what I purchased (both were labled as a Pebble). They were completely differnt. The closest one they had in stock was Fresco.

I've been using Estée Lauder Double Wear 2W2 Rattan for many years and it was always a perfect match. I recently finished my old compact and bought the new formula, but the shade looks much darker and turns orange on my skin. I'm very disappointed with this change. I no longer know which shade to use, and it's really frustrating after being such a loyal customer. Sadly, I will now be switching to another brand
Surprisingly one of my new favorites
I've never tried a powder foundation before and this is so beautiful. I love that you can use it as a sheer powder or build for more coverage, but it really evens my skin tone out nicely without being heavy. I would recommend buying in store if you're not sure on color, I would consider myself to have warm toned skin but in Estee Lauder products my best matches are all in their cool toned range (I was actually shocked).

I thought I was losing my mind until I came here and saw I'm not alone! I've been loyal to Estée Lauder Double Wear Powder for over 10 years — always in the shade "Dusk." But my latest order is a disaster. It's DARK. It's ORANGE. It's completely different. Why on earth would you ruin a product that's been perfect for so long? Stop messing with a good thing! Your loyal customers deserve better than silence — at least admit you changed it. We're not all crazy, and you're not fooling anyone!
