Well formulated and well priced

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I purchased the original version of this a few years ago. The eucalyptus scent, while refreshing, was very strong. In this updated version, the eucalyptus is still refreshing but alot less pungent and I think will be more agreeable f...

Eh

I waited to write this review after using the entire tub. I would say that this is a good step to use in a double cleansing routine. I would use this cleanser first, then follow with a regular facial cleanser. It did a great job at removing face make up, but when it came to the eyes I about fell out...

I absolutely love this cleansing balm. The ease with which it applies is matched by how easily it rinses off without feeling like a residue is left behind. My very sensitive skin always comes away feelinh so clean and calm, yet refreshed. I do have to be careful around the eyes as I find it irritates them a bit, but that's just me.

I purchased this product while away because I ran out of my regular cleansing balm. It did a poor job of removing eyeliner and mascara (not waterproof), I was left with raccoon eyes even after double cleansing. It was necessary to use micellar water to completely remove the eye makeup. After a few emails back and forth with Customer Service I was asked to explain exactly how I used the product. Since apparently they could not offer an explanation, nor could they stand behind their product the representative just told to return the Versed Cleansing Balm to place of purchase.

Comments about Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm

I already double cleanse and typically only have lotion and sunscreen for my daily routine. On days that I put foundation and/or mascara on, I wanted a more substantial option to remove it all. This definitely takes it all off and doesn't irritate my eyes or sensitive skin. But I have to use so much water rinsing it off to get to a point where my face doesn't feel oily that I don't think it is worth it. I wanted to like this option to avoid the waste of using wipes but I don't like the trade off of using so much water. Because I don't regularly wear makeup, I feel makeup remover wipes are a better option for me. People with dry skin might have different results.

It works so well to dissolve make-up and waterproof mascara. I put on and tissue off.
