Can this product be used before or after applying a retinoid? And if so, should it be applied before or after the retinoid?
- Asked by KitKat
- Official Answer By Peace Out SkincarePeace Out Dark Spots Serum is a potent treatment that contains ingredients like tranexamic acid, alpha-arbutin and a 10% AHA blend. Because it is a strong formula, we do not advise you to use it at the same time you use a retinoid. We would suggest using the products on alternate evenings. Was this answer helpful to you

Is this product supposed to be yellow/brown in color and have a sour smell? I recently purchased and had to exchange. The new bottle also smelled and looked the same in color. I'm curious because it looks very different from the images and videos of the product
- Asked by Nicky
- Official Answer By Peace Out SkincareThank you for your inquiry. Peace Out Dark Spots Serum is closer to an orangish tan in color and has zero added fragrance or scent masking agents. Initial marketing photos used an early version of the formula. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
do you make a dark spot remover for arms and legs
- Asked by curlie
- Official Answer By Peace Out SkincareWe don't make a separate product just for arms and legs. You can, however, use Peace Out Dark Spots Serum on those areas of the body and not just your face. Was this answer helpful to you

This is my all time favourite product to fight discoloration, sun/age spots and post-acne hyperpigmentation. I rarely write reviews but it just pains me to see that one of the things I truly love gets so much hate. I'm a skincare junkie and have tried a lot of products with similar claims, nothing ...

Not good
I should have listened to the other comments, the smell truly is beyond offensive, steaming hot garbage juice is not an exaggeration. It's also a highly irritating formula since the ingredients are such a high potency, but even though my skin is already used to the highest potency of tranexamic acid...

Great product
Offered by peaceoutskincare The serum is great for weekly use for spot reductions, I use it in my night routine twice a week to reduce spots it gives a glow to my face and I top it off with a moisturizer for a refreshing and calm look
Not good
I should have listened to the other comments, the smell truly is beyond offensive, steaming hot garbage juice is not an exaggeration. It's also a highly irritating formula since the ingredients are such a high potency, but even though my skin is already used to the highest potency of tranexamic acid AND alpha arbutin in combination, my skin still broke out badly from this product. It started with little white itchy dots all over my face after applying it, and each dot turned into acne by morning. Not hives, just acne. I know it isn't an allergic reaction. I used the product for a week with the intention of using it for the whole month to allow my skin to adjust to it, but my skin kept getting worse. This product really needs to be reformulated and honestly should omit the PHA blend, it isn't necessary. I would not recommend this product to anyone, and especially not to someone with sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin and still want to add tranexamic acid and alpha arbutin to your routine, I would recommend Bubble's Daydream serum as it's designed for sensitive skin and I haven't had a bad response to it. Even combining the Inkey List's individual tranexamic acid and alpha arbutin serums is a better combination than this rancid product (smells better too and is less irritating!!!).
Great product
This product is a very odd smelling product but it definitely helps and gets rid of my acne dark spots. I definitely recommend but just be warmed it does smell weord.
love this serum
I've bought several bottles over the years. It really does fade dark marks. If you have sensitive skin you do need to build up to using it multiple times a week. I haven't noticed an awful smell like some of the other reviews mention.
Stinky but effective
Yes, it smells....but absolutely does what it says it does. I only use this a couple times a week at night, because of the smell. When I do use it though, it does the job and fades those pesky dark marks left behind by blemishes and even some mild melasma that I have. It will burn if you have broken skin, so keep that in mind. I am buying a second bottle. I am 40 yrs old with adult hormonal acne, very sensitive/reactive combo skin.
