I tried for a long time to use Joico, which my salon swears by, but it didn't quite work on my hair. Switched to this and I'm so happy. I prefer an ashy tone to my highlights because they bronze way too easily. Joico did not control the bronze right. This shampoo does. It smells amazing, keeps my hair feeling light and conditioned and is the best of all the shampoos I've ever tried at perfecting the ash/platinum blonde. Only con - it will dye your fingers purple!
